There are over 200 gently treated creatures by a wonderful staff of dedicated humans. They have brought on their own vet just for rescued animals which is a daunting accomplishment for an animal sanctuary. Very welcoming to visitors, especially children. Often have catered events , always and only vegan. #Veganuary
Indraloka is a Sanskrit word that refers to the heaven of the gods, and in that vein this farmed animal sanctuary provides a sacred and safe place for its residents and for guests coming to meet them. There is a tangible tranquility at the sanctuary, and I highly recommend a trip out to enjoy the beauteous rural Pennsylvania location and to bond with the amazing individuals who reside there.
