Disappointing - Edit
I have dined in before and had a good experience. Ordered a korma and another spicy curry when we were there and was assured that everything was vegan.
Read moreWe ordered takeaway from them and again, got the korma which was very clearly marked vegan on the menu, no issues.
Then we ordered takeaway again, another korma on the order, however this time I decided to leave a note on the delivery saying how pleased I was with the vegan options.
We then received a phone call stating that the korma is not vegan, and cannot be made vegan. Whether or not this was a one-off was unclear, however I am now left to wonder whether the dishes really were vegan.
I believe that there are a lot of vegan options there, however I would avoid things that are cream or dairy based just incase. Maybe I am being overly worried, but just my experience!
Also worth noting that the takeaway food was significantly worse than what we had dining in, which was on the other hand, absolutely delicious.
Pros: Lots of (supposed) vegan options, Helpful staff
Cons: Slow delivery, Sceptical about authenticity of vegan options, Not the best takeaway food (soggy pakora etc.)

Really good curry and cheap too! - Edit
Good vegan options clearly marked on the menu (Just Eat). Nice curry - huge portions but not too expensive. £40 for 4 curries and including sides (rice, chips, naan). Stayed for 1 night so was great to find a good takeaway nearby during our stop over.

Best indian takeaway in Renfrewshire - Edit
Staff were really lovely and proud to showcase their vegan options. Felt very light after eating here, can tell their food is made differently than many other indian restaurants, not as heavy on the oil. Veg pakora, Naan, bhoona & korma are all lovely!

Good for a Curry - Edit
Ordered a takeaway, the vegetable curry I ordered was tasty. There was lots of items on the menu marked vegan and I didn't have any doubt that the curry and naan I recieved was in fact vegan.
Read morePortions are large, even too large, so was not able to finish, but very good value for money although nothing too outstanding.
Pros: Many Options, Good Value
Cons: Portions Too Large

Nice Indian, but be cautious - Edit
This is a nice Indian restaurant in a Paisley, seems to be busy and the food is tasty. Friendly staff too and quite reasonable prices.
Read moreIn terms of being vegan-friendly, vegan dishes are marked on the menu with VGN. However, I ordered a vegetable pakora, which came with 2 sauces. When it arrived, I asked the waitress if the sauces were definitely both vegan (I was suspicious...), she replied that it was a vegan dish. I asked what was in the white sauce and she then offered to double check with the kitchen. Of course, it turned out the white sauce wasn’t vegan.
When the mains arrived, the naans, marked vegan, appeared to have butter or oil on them. Unfortunately, I was out celebrating a birthday with a non-vegan friend and didn’t want to cause a fuss, so never found out which it was. I’d lost faith a little by then.
Therefore, I’d be careful to tell the waiter that you’re vegan on ordering. I find that frustrating, as marked vegan options should be vegan!
Pros: Good curries
Cons: Accompaniments to vegan options not vegan!
