Be careful if you're vegan

Spoke to the staff and the only two options available that did not have dairy were the veg coconut curry and aloo gobi. Contrary to previous reviews, the chana masala has heavy cream and naan bread has milk.

I went for the aloo gobi with some rice and a seasonal salad (i.e. cut up vegetables). The aloo gobi was pretty nice, the main downside to the meal was the two massive pieces of raw onion on the salad. And I mean muh-sive. Like a SETI dish massive. There's only so much raw onion a person can handle.

All in all, although the food was good, not a good place for vegans.

Pros: Friendly staff, good English spoken

Cons: Very limited vegan options, a bit expensive

Great vegetarian options. Outstanding service.

Fantastic flavours. Excellent chef. Would have given 5 stars if the app would allow it.

Pros: Good value.

Fantastic curry

Ate a delicious chickpea masala here. Fantastic naan, rice and service. If you’re at the backpacker hills hostels it’s just to the left as you exit the long lane back to the main road. A little pricier than the places up the hill, but if you want some flavour this is a great place to find it.

Pros: Great service , Delicious curry

Delicious and traditional Indian

The vego and vegan option food here deserves a solid 5 star. My boyfriend and I have gone here multiple times during our stay as the food is traditional and delicious. Staff are really lovely and food is quick. I would strongly recommend the pineapple curry mild as you can better taste the sweetness. I also highly recommend ordering the vegetable samosas, these are vegan and so so very good. This place is seriously a little gem found by chance.

Pros: Lots of vego and vegan options, Most traditional Indian food I’ve had , Reasonable prices and clean environment

Cons: Layout is small, not suitable for big groups
