An unintuitive and mediocre meal - Edit
Firstly, I'd like to say, make sure to order each menu item vegan. Even though the menu has items marked vegan, they will still use ghee and serve with curd unless otherwise requested.
Read moreOn the topic of food, the roti (the only bread option for us) was disappointing. It was thicker than typical roti, and much tougher. The samosas were fine, but their spicing is atypical, and they are served with curd.
Lastly, I had the vegetable curry. It was good. Their spice levels tend to lean on the hot side, so if you're sensitive to that, be warned. But it wasn't special, and it wasn't worth $15. My boyfriend got an omni meal and said that it was likewise mediocre.
There are a decent selection of offerings that can be made vegan, but this restaurant is such a huge letdown compared to Taste of India just down the road. They also have a better atmosphere than India Bhavan, which is very loud, and not especially well lit. Their prices are also slightly cheaper.
So I'd say skip it unless Taste of India is closed.

Good Curry - Edit
Food was pretty good. The menu had lots of labels vegan options. Be careful as the samosas are labeled vegan but are served with a dairy yogurt sauce. Service was lacking.

Portions beyond compare - Edit
Phenomenal multi vegetarian and vegan upon request curries alongside huge portions of rice. The level of spices are adequately compared and will certainly accommodate any preference.

Worth every penny - Edit
I purchased the chana saag vegan and the roti to go. They knew how to change on the order when I requested vegan. I ordered medium spice and it is perfect. It is large portion of rice and curry so I am a happy woman! About $14 do my curry with rice and roti. This is a must in Green Bay

Favorite Indian Restaurant - Edit
There are several vegan options: Aloo Gobi Masala, Baingan Masala, Channa Masala, Channa Saag, Dal Fry, Dal Makhani, Kadai Veg, Roti, and Poori. These are the ones I know of; there might be more.
Read moreBe sure to order your meal vegan! Some, if not all of these dishes are usually made vegetarian. The chefs usually throw in some ghee even if the dish does not call for it. The waiters are very familiar with what vegan is and will advise you without issue. They will notify the chef it needs to be dairy free and even pick the vegan chutneys to go with your papadam appetizer.
My favorite dish is the aloo gobi; my husband's favorite is the channa saag.
Pros: delicious, authentic food, friendly staff that will remember you, great ambiance and music
Cons: variations in how food is made/ spiciness can vary, vegan options are not clearly labeled on the menu, take out is in polystyrene containers

Lunch Buffet several options - Edit
Great vegetarian option on lunch buffet. Several vegan options. Serves meat, but I simply asked the host to show me what was vegan and what was not.

New East Indian Restaurant in Green Bay - Edit
Brand new East Indian restaurant for Green Bay featuring North and South Indian dishes. Seperate vegetarian menus for both styles of cuisine. Some Chinese dishes available, also. Just opened so lots of kinks to work out esp. in customer service. Koorma was a bland gravy but the okra tomato dish was rich and flavorful. Basmati rice (white) well prepared as was the ginger-laced naan (also white flour). Three soups tried were all well done and well spiced.
Read moreNice to have vegetarian menus available in the area and can only hope the early days of the new restaurant will provide the necessary experience to grow into a great restaurant.
Ate at mid-day buffet 11/19 and was very pleased. More vegetarian dishes offered and better quality. Will return for buffet. East Indian music playing.
11/22. Weekend buffet is very well prepared and presented. More vegetarian entrees. Excellent Sambar! Personality of restaurant is blossoming in a good way.
