A bit more up market than many places in Sintra - and you could t,ell by the. Quality of food preparation on offer. Very tasty. Not a huge range for veggies, but what they had was good. Also, the menu (inside not out) is fully marked for gluten.

Read moreLa comida no estaba mala pero tampoco espectacular. No pasaria nada si no me hubiesen cobrado 30 pavos por unos nachos con guacamole, unos macarrones y un plato de fruta cortada.
Se agradece que por lo menos las opciones veganas estén marcadas en el menú.

Top option in Sintra for dinner - Edit
Thrilled to discover a fancy dinner spot in Sintra. Loved that the vegan options were easy to spot on the menu. The soup and roasted potatoes were good, made with quality ingredients. The upscale ambiance adds to the experience. Suggest booking ahead.

A great option for a fancy meal in Sintra! Felt very high end and ended up being amazing. I had this avocado, coconut pasta with tomatoes and micro greens on top. It was excellent!

We had an awesome vegan meal. The highlight was the Green Peas Vichyssoise soup! We also loved the Penne pasta w/ avocado and coconut. The staff was so nice and helpful, we even got a complimentary small appetizer from the chef that was vegan.

This place looks and charges like a fancy restaurant, but the food is just average (and therefore too expensive for what they charge). They have 1 vegan option on the menu and a second that can be made vegan. We both ended up ordering the second, a risotto, and left feeling like we should have gone elsewhere. A friend that was with us and ordered one of their regular dishes was also underwhelmed.

Na lang zoeken bij dit gezellige restaurant terecht gekomen. Er staan drie vegetarische gerechten op het menu. De zoete aardappel met spinazi, gegrilde groente en pompoenpitjes is echt heerlijk!

I've had the vegetable soup as a starter and it was delicious.
Read moreThere is only one vegan main course, but it was very good. It seems to change with the season, when I visited it was made from roasted sweet potato, spinach and on top of it zucchini, eggplant and tomato cooked in the oven. It just lacks a source of protein to make it a balanced vegan dish.
The dessert was a bit disapointing : most of the fruits were not ripe enough and/or flavorful.
Also they have great wines and the service is like in a gastronomic restaurant.

At holy cow it says variety of vegan dishes, but that’s not the case. But the food they served was excellent! Than it’s no problem having just one vegan dish.

I went to this place with my non-vegan friend despite there only being 1 vegan option labelled on the menu.
Read moreThe only option didn’t sound too exciting so I asked them to surprise me with a pasta dish.
We also ordered the olives and bread to start with, and the waiter kindly brought a bowl of chips and guacamole as well since he knew I was vegan.
The food was good, but what made out experience was the service. The staff were extremely attentive and took great care of us.
