Only catering no restaurant - Edit
After relocation there is no restaurant anymore. Driving to the new address in Zonhoven leads to a private house with no gastronomy. Catering on previous request only.

Nice little place, a cosy setting in the city center. The service, attention to detail, quality of food and variety of dishes are all the more impressive knowing that it's run by a single person on weekdays. Enjoyed the nachos, flatbread and pancakes for the kids. Keep it going, we need places like this!

Cosy little cafe with tonnes of great options! It's a small place, but there is a mini terrace at the back and (I think) some additional seating upstairs. The staff are welcoming and are happy to make suggestions.

Best nacho’s ever - Edit
I had the loaded nacho’s and a brownie. The nacho’s were really delicious. They were made with soy “chicken”. The place has great lunch options and does a special sometimes. Always happy to go there.

One of the few restaurants in Hasselt with a 100% plant based menu.
Read moreThe owners are really friendly and takes the time to talk to you.
The menu isn’t really big but there’s a bit of something for everyone.
I got the lasagna and the Ginkgo tea and they were very tasty.
It’s a small place so make sure to make a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment.
Will definitely come back again.

Read moreI had the vegan lentil salad which was a really big portion and full of flavour. I wanted to keep eating. I can't wait to try the vegan mac n cheese and the Mexican burger! Both look so wholesome! Real comfort food!
The desserts are to die for: vegan ginger cake, vegan mon cherie ice cream, the cutest vanilla cupcakes, red velvet cookies etc. Different every day so it's always a fun surprise.
They serve Richie lemonade but I can highly recommend the tea collection, mainly the infusions 'magic moon' and 'unicorn'!
The owner is sooooo lovely! she runs the whole cafe on her own and makes everything herself, also the cakes. A true super woman!
In t'grun definitely is my favourite vegan place in Hasselt: unpretentious and affordable. It's a place with a soul.
It's also very geen, with plants everywhere, a comfy sofa and great vibes!

Ideal for a lunch - Edit
To start with the food is really good! I've had some pasta and it was really nice. My mother (who is omnivore) also liked her meal very much and she isn't easy to please. The menu isn't very big but I don't think that it's a problem. I've also had the brownie and it was really very good. She put the brownie in the over for a while and it was just perfect! It's also a very nice woman, she really takes her time to talk to you and she is always friendly. She explains where her products come from because most product are local😄

You never leave hungry, the owner is super easy to talk to for questions and advice!
My favorite item on the menu is for sure rhe chocomouse and the chocolat chip cookies but the spagetti, the sadwiches and the salad is also delish!!!!
The home made lemonades are also super tasty and not too sweet!

De beschrijving van de wonderbaarlijke thee varianten is op zich al een bezoek waard. Als je leest over eenhoorns in je thee, dan wil je dat toch proeven!
De bediening is daarenboven ook nog eens heel warm en hartelijk met een persoonlijke toets. Geen moeite is te veel om je je hier echt thuis te laten voelen. Wij komen hier alvast heel graag terug!

This place looks great, with lots of plants, and cozy corners to relax in. You can easily spend some time with a lovely cup of tea and a delicious brownie (and perhaps a book).
Read moreThe food is straightforward, and very tasty. You can get a quick lunch or brunch here, all completely plant-based. There is also a daily selection of desserts to choose from. And to top it off, there's a big selection of drinks as well.
This place is exactly what Hasselt needed: a cozy spot where you can get some vegan goodness without spending too much.
