Ideaal voor een gemengd gezelschap, want zowel vlees, vis, veggie als vegan opties! Met grote zorg en liefde gemaakt. Vriendelijke en gemoedelijke sfeer.

Several vegan options, not super creative - Edit
They have several vegan options, and many more vegetarian (of which some can be made vegan as well). A vegan spaghetti, lasagne, macaroni, toast champignon, vegetable burger, falafel dish, ... as to name most vegan options. I have tasted some of these. The dishes are honest and mostly healthy, what I like. They taste nice, but not 'wow'.
Read moreI had the vegetable burger this time, and found it a bit dry, but there was a nice vegan mayonnaise that I could put on the bread with burger.
The owners are very friendly and staff is okay as well.

Ik heb hier zeer lekker gegeten. Ik kon eerst niet kiezen, maar ben uiteindelijk voor de groentenburger gegaan. Die was zeer lekker. Het bord was ook zeer mooi gepresenteerd. Als dessert heb ik het soja-ijs met veganistische chocoladesaus gekozen. Het was zeer fijn om eens een dessertje te kunnen eten op restaurant.

Wholesome vegan options in a nice atmosphere - Edit
The owners have labelled the vegan/veg options on the menu. The soup of the day is always vegan. When I ordered a vegan hot chocolate (soy milk and vegan chocolate), they gave me some biscuits on the side and specified these were vegan too. I felt very comfortable because the owners clearly know what vegan means. I had the mushroom toast as a main course and really enjoyed it.

Zoals hieronder al vermeld werd is de helft van hun menukaart ongeveer vegetarisch. Vegan gerechten zijn er ruim voldoende, ik kon zelfs niet kiezen!

Starters, main and desserts all had vegan options.
They work with local and bio products. And the food was amazing!!!!
I started with mushroom toast, then spiced vegan cheese pasta and ended with soy icecream with vegan chocolate sauce.
Enjoyed every part of the meal.
They have vegan options on the menu. And a lot of vegetarion options that can be veganised, if asked.
They also have a wide tea selection with lovely flavors.
Would def. reccomend it to anyone!!!!

Good honest food - Edit
In de Maeltydt offers good honest food. Almost half it's menu is vegetarian. They also focus on organic food and offer gluten-free possibilities. Every thursday the standard menu is vegetarian. Dont expect any fancy or high class food but just pure, honest good value for money food.
