Great option for veg/vegans in Ferrara - Edit
This is a genuine, chef-run, local spot in the historic center of Ferrara with clearly marked menu and knowledgeable staff. I had the lentil caper soup (great combination) and the turlu turlu ratatouille. The staff were careful to let me know which of the 3 available breads brought to our table was vegan.

Gorgeous summer lunch venue - Edit
If you go to the address on this app in summer it looks closed. It actually relocates to a lovely central courtyard in summer. Very lovely food and willing to do vegan options other than those on the menu. Felt like a real treat. The summer address is Via Cairoli 13.
