Would give 5 stars if I could. This was so good ♥️ all so fresh and with good quality ingredients. I highly recommend this place if you're a vegan it was hard to find something in Perugia. This was outstanding ♥️

Le opzioni sono poche e non troppo entusiasmanti.
Come primo piatto ho preso pasta con pesto di sedano e noci e il pesto non era come me l'aspettavo: era liquidissimo e il gusto era monotono. Avrei apprezzato che si sentissero di più le noci, in questo piatto secondo me inesistenti, magari tagliate grossolanamente in modo da dare un po' di croccantezza e spezzare il gusto stancante della salsa.
Ho poi preso la torta amish: un tortino speziato di frutta secca accompagnato da una crema al latte di riso e vaniglia. Intanto ho apprezzato molto che ci fosse l'opzione di un dessert vegano e alle prime cucchiaiate era molto buono, ma poi per finirlo ho fatto abbastanza fatica, in quanto pesante e stucchevole. Al posto della crema avrei accompagnato una marmellata acida, ad esempio di lamponi, per alleggerire il tutto.
Sui prezzi non si può dire niente, giusti.
Leggendo le altre recensioni sono rimasta delusa dell'esperienza che ho avuto.

As a foodie, this place was impressive down to every last detail. Value, seasonal, locally sourced, artsy side of town, intimate atmosphere, friendly staff, and then the Amazing Food! Everything was homemade. We had to return several times during our stay. Each item on the menu was a win from the Kirsh and appetizer to start off all the way to the dessert. Chef Livia brings the modern Perugian to life with her Italian - French heritage.

Good vegan options in Perugia - Edit
Excellent food, a few vegan options (which you can filter on the online menu), friendly and efficient service, nice and spacious terrace. The hemp tart with zucchini cream and eggplant was excellent, as was the chocolate pudding with peach puree.

Had an amazing evening at "Il Moderno". The menu is available via a qr code and exists only in Italian, but the staff was very engaged to help us out and gave plenty of recommendations. The food was very tasty and lovely arranged. However, the vegan options are quite limited but I would visit it any time again.

In the heart of Perugia, there is a lovely restaurant with a very special atmosphere. It is the Moderno restaurant. I sat outside and I could read the menu through the QR code. I got the pappa al pomodoro and a chocolate mousse, made with rice milk. The chef explained that she makes the rice milk herself and I think this is relevant detail and it does make the difference! The food was very good and it is affordable
