Very nice location - Edit
The restaurant is beautiful and the staff very friendly. I ate bruschetta and potato gnocchi with pumpkin puree and vegan ricotta: good and large portion. In addition to these, you only find a soup and falafel with hummus.

Lovely - Edit
We went there 20 minutes before closing, but staff was super lovely and still served us. Had the gnocchi which was quite flavorful and texture nice and pillowy. Atmosphere is also beautiful. Highly recommend!

I would give this a 5* but only available to give fully vegan places that rating - Edit
I had such a great experience here, the food was amazing, very attentive staff and a beautiful building! There was loads of vegan options but enough to satisfy all vegan eaters. I had the bruschetta to start which was fabulous and then the tofu, chickpea, sweet potato and quinoa salad with sesame dressing for main which was one of the best salads I’ve ever eaten out to be honest (I know big claim!) I would definitely recommend going here!

Vegan Menu - Edit
They had a seperate vegan menu with 3 starters and 2 main dishes. I had fried vegtables with tofu. It was a little tasteless. The restaurant was very beatiful and the service was good.

They have a vegan menu! (I added a photo of the menu) - Edit
They have developed a separate vegan menu with starters and main courses! I tried the croquettes and vegetable stir fry/curry, both were amazing! I do not know if they have a vegan dessert as well.

Improving all the time - Edit
Been going to Mithna for some time. Their menu does not show vegan or many vegetarian options, but they have always been willing to adapt dishes or cook something. Also I am told a new menu is on the way WITH vegan options.
Read moreEvery time we go and ask for vegan we are offered at least two starters, mains and now desserts too. And they are, in the main, excellent!
Plus the venue and service are great too
Pros: Excellent food, Great service, Lovely restaurant
Cons: options not yet on menu

No Vegan options - Edit
We didn't eat here as there was nothing vegan on the menu, there was limited veggie options and very much a meat place - I don't think this should be listed on Happy cow, it's not helpful when you're vegan and desperately trying to find food in a different country.

only meat and fish on the menu - Edit
I'm quite frankly a bit surprised to find this restaurant here. I live down the street and walk by every day. There is not a single vegan dish on the menu, not even vegetarian if memory serves me correctly. I went there once when family was visiting and the ambience sure is awesome (it's inside an old windmill), but if you don't like explaining and discussing your food and hope it turns out alright (which it did) and prefer to order a la carte this place might not be for you. Because if we go by "might be able to throw together something vegan that isn't on the card" almost every other place here would qualify. That being said - the food was good, but a bit on the pricy side.

amazing location, good food - Edit
The restaurant is located in an old mill (il-mithna means that in Maltese) and features an inventive menu with, unfortunately, only a vegan starter. Luckily enough the chef is more than willing to cater at vegan, so I could enjoy a very nice dinner anyway. I had a fresh asparagus starter, with mushrooms, small onions and confit cherry tomatoes, followed by a main dish made up

Would recommend this restaurant - Edit
I would definitely recommend eating at this restaurant. The service was excellent and we were made to feel very velcome. There was a choice of several vegetarian dishes and the food was very good. We really enjoyed our evening here.
