Excellent find

We were staying in the hotel opposite and it’s in a beautiful location but out of season there’s not much open, so it was amazing that the restaurant opposite had a vegan menu. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful. He is Bulgarian and his menu has interesting Balkan influences. I didn’t have a starter but he assured me he could have made salads, or adapted things from the sides and starter menu. The shepherd’s lentil stew was hearty and oven baked with lovely fresh vegetables. Then I had some delightful pistachio baklava. If we’d have been in the area longer I wouldn’t have hesitated to return.
