Great vegan Italian - Edit
I had no idea ✨real✨ Italian could be vegan, so I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the carbonara pasta and I shared a focaccia with my dinnerpartner. The food was delicious, staff was friendly, although I must say that, for a restaurant that advertises with being very vegan-friendly, the staff had little knowledge of their own cuisine.

Disappointed by the overall experience, but taste was good - Edit
I had selected this place because it had vegan options, plus enough for my non-veg(an) friends. The menu has in the header that there are vegan friendly options, but dishes itself are not marked except for 2 pizzas. When I ordered the vegan pizza, the waiter asked me if it was vegan without eggs and milk - which I found a strange question. When the check came at the end, they added € 5 to a € 14.50 pizza to leave out milk+eggs. Not only was it not mentioned, I find it ridiculous that you list a vegan pizza which is not vegan.
Read moreFor the starters, as nothing was marked vegan, I had to ask to the waiter to go and ask the chef if there was anything vegan. For dessert, there was no option at all in the desert menu (and I got tired of asking).
I would give it 1 star, but the taste of the pizza itself was very good. My carnivore friends also liked the taste of their pizzas. So because of the quality of food, 2 starts.

We found this place accidentally and really liked their vegan vegetable pizza. The pizza with avocado was only so-so.

The pizza looked really good and tasted good as well. But this did not make up for the terrible service. Our table was dirty and never cleaned, we watched tables get up and be re-sat without being whipped down. You can get vegan pizza elsewhere.

Delicious and authentic pizza 🍕 - Edit
Worth the short walk to get to. There were a couple of vegan options and I went for the avocado vegan pizza which was thin, crispy and delicious! Good value and friendly staff - would recommend!

Impressive vegan options - Edit
We saw mixed reviews and I was a bit nervous to go but tempted by the vegan options! There are quite a few options including pizzas with vegan cheese and a few pasta options even vegan carbonara, options clearly marked. Felt quite authentic and food was really good both pizza and pasta! It was also probably the most reasonably priced dinner of our week trip. Service was great the lady serving us was lovely, friendly and attentive. The website listed is wrong but here you can find their menu and book https://www.ilboccalino.com/
