Good that they have plant-based options. But have to make other back up plans as their plant-based dishes get sold out easily and very limited choice.

Meatless patty with spaghetti is very delicious. The combination of a crispy patty and the sweet salt spaghetti noods hit the spot. Remember to ask the counter staff for no cheese if cheese is not part of your diet as staff may sprinkle cheese on your spaghetti.

Whilst it is amazing that a global giant like IKEA has added extensive plant based food to their menus , it’s a shame that there is some confusion as to which dishes are vegan. For sure, the vegan soft serve ice cream is served in a non vegan cone (we saw the ingredients list and they include whey and skimmed milk powder. The meatballs, cutlets and fish fingers are all vegan as is the pasta and tomato sauce. All were cheap, tasty and perfect for a snack when shopping here. But despite asking a few staff members we are unsure about the mash and some of the sauces and gravy. Some clear labelling and staff training is needed so that there is no mis understanding. The coconut and strawberry gelato is AMAZING and was our favourite for sure 🤩
