experimental options - Edit
The decoration of the shop is a bit odd.. the ice cream is very experimental, which is nice. However, i have tasted better ice cream.

Wow! - Edit
I trekked an hour from my hostel to get here, and it was so worth it. I ordered three scoops of ice cream - the coconut crumble (nice and simple), the cappuccino chocolate (perfect balance of chocolate and coffee) and the mango sticky rice (possibly the best ice cream I've ever had - it even had bits of sticky rice in it!).
Read moreI wish I could've come here more often. It's such a great environment, with superhero-themed decor and lots of rubber duckies you can liberate from cages.
However, contrary to other reviewers, I didn't find that this place served "mostly vegan" ice cream. More than half of the flavours on display were dairy-based. Unfortunately I have to take off a star due to the presence of dairy (and possibly eggs in waffles and pancakes), but otherwise this would be a 5.
Pros: Large variety of affordable, plant-based ice cream, Superb, well-balanced flavours, Lovingly crafted environment
Cons: Serves dairy (and possibly eggs)

Mango Sticky Rice & Taro w/ Young Coconut!!! - Edit
So delish. Mango sticky rice had literal (frozen) sticky rice grains in the ice cream, while the taro w/ young coconut had bits of frozen taro within which were interesting - some people may not like this but I didn't mind it. Wish I had a thousand stomachs so I could try all the flavours!!
Read moreAlso a bit confused because reviewers have said it's 30THB per scoop but for 2, I paid 70 (after the fact) - so make sure you check beforehand.

Heroes and ice cream- what a combo! - Edit
Such a cute little ice cream store. Not completely vegan, but all the vegan ice cream has a "V" next to the signs. The girl working there asked us when we walked in and immediately began pointing them out. Some of the flavours we had included- mint choc chip, match green tea & rum and raisin. Seems as though the flavours change every so often. Really great and really creamy!!

They serve an immense variety of dairy-free ice creams! (and have super cool nerdy décor) - What more do you want?!
Read moreI had mint choc, black bean, banoffee, lemon & mango ice cream. Mango was a bit "boring" in comparison, but all the others were great. I think mint choc (the blue one) was my favorite. Would definitely go there again even though it's a bit of a bike ride from the city center.
Pros: creamy vegan ice cream, cool decoration, plenty of choice
Cons: a bit out of town

Vegan ice cream heaven - Edit
Fantastic variety of vegan ice creams. There are usually about 20 on display each day, and 95% are vegan. They also serve a huge puffed up roti that can be veganised (and gives you a sugar coma in the process). I even tried mushroom ice cream, which was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. It's a little far out of town but worth the effort if you have a sweet tooth.

Best Ice cream I've ever had - Edit
It's around 40 degrees outside so I came here to cool down with some vegan ice cream. Most flavors are vegan (they are marked with a V). I had kiwi and passion fruit sorbet and my boyfriend had Korean yogurt (also vegan) and mango sticky rice. They were all superb, especially the Korean yogurt. The waffle cone is also very nice. Definitely coming back when I have the chance!

Amazing flavours! - Edit
I walked one hour just to go there, and it was totally woth it! They have a big menu, so it's hard to choose! I can recommend the korean yoghurt flavour! I wished I could have go there a second time and try the vegan waffles... It's just a bit pricy, but that's ok for this taste :)

Best icecream store in Chiang Mai! - Edit
This cafe is a colorfully and creatively themed superhero icecream cafe with 104 flavours most of which are vegan.
Read moreThey offer you the choice to buy per scoop (30baht) or to choose a dessert from their extensive menu. Desserts start from around 100baht and include 2-3 flavours, lots of love, massive portions and added extras like whipped cream, fruit or pancakes.
We ordered six flavours - choc almond, durian, rum raisin, cappuccino, Spider-Man and macadamia.
Our favourite was macadamia because it was so sweet and creamy.
All increase are either fruit based sorbets, coconut milk based or coconut yogurt based. This small detail will affect the creaminess of your flavour.
Happy customers! We will all be returning!
Pros: Friendly staff, Huge vegan flavour selection
Cons: Some distance outside old city

Good vegan ice cream - Edit
Nice place with friendly staff. Interior decoration is definitely a bit childish, but they do have comfy couches to sit on. Most ice cream flavours are vegan (when we were there in October 2016 only the ice creams with cookies were not vegan, the staff seems knowedgeable about which flavours are not vegan). 30 baht per scoop. Definitely try the rum-raisin - delicious! I also liked the mango-sticky-rice ice cream.

Mostly vegan ice cream, plenty of choice and such a great flavours! - Edit
I wouldn´t say few of the flavours are vegan, I´ve been there three times (2014, 2015, 2016) and I´ve been shown by staff how most of the flavours are vegan. On my last visit they told that only those with cookies in the ice cream are not vegan.
Read moreI´m amazed how some vegans have not liked this place. It is such a rare thing in this part of the world to have a place like this. Anyway, I love their ice creams. When I want ice cream I don´t look for something healthy, I look for something yummy. Sure those ice creams that have eg. bright blue colour are not that appealing to me. I usually look for creamy flavours instead of fruity or berry ones.
Last time I had vanilla-almond, korean yoghurt and rum-raisin flavours. Korean yoghurt is the best and next time I will also have rum-raisin again plus something else from their many flavours. Lychee is good too, as is blueberry and strawberry one. Cappucino tastes like cappucino.
Pros: Great tasting vegan ice cream, So may flavours to choose from, Cute place and okay location near Nimmanhaemin

cute place, OK ice cream - Edit
This superhero themed vegan ice cream shop was cute but underwhelming. The ice cream we ordered took extremely long and most of the flavors were tasty but pretty icy, as if they didn't know how to make good vegan ice cream correctly. The mango sorbet and dark chocolate were my favorite.

Ice Love You Too - Edit
We only found here about a week before leaving and were so happy we did. Not all the Ice Cream is vegan (the cheese flavour isn't) but most are. This was a delightful treat and it is well worth getting the tray of 6 flavours to try as many as you can

Student's Atmosphere and Cold Ice Cream - Edit
We are not students anymore for a considerable amount of time but we really enjoined the atmosphere and crowds of youngsters of staff and customers. Actually it was very hard to leave the place.
Read moreNOT ALL of the flavors are vegan. And very apparent (but yes we asked) that especially chocolate is not. Not sure if oreo flavor is vegan or not. Original cookie is technically vegan however. Just ask the staff. They are very accommodating.
We had 5 flavors. The names are not exact however here is what we had. Hawaiian blue, Thai tea, Green tea, Banana, Violet with almonds.
We enjoined only 2 of those and they were "teas". We do not like to many sweets and "teas" were the only ones not sweet. So I would definitely recommend those over others. Thai tea in particular.
Price is 30 baht a scoop.
Pros: Atmosphere, COLD ICECREAM

A lot of vegan icecream - Edit
All the icecream flavors are apparently vegan. We had chocolate-oreo (very good), peach (tasted like nothing), cappucino (ok, watery texture), banoffie pie and melon (artifical tasting but still good). 6 scoops cost 150 baht.
Read moreI was a bit sad that the big brownie-icecream-whipped-cream-bowl wasn't vegan. haha

so many flavors to choose from! they were even offering an ice cream buffet for 199 baht, which is pretty reasonable indeed. we ended up getting 6 scoops of ice cream and the roti. it was delicious and less than 200 baht. all the flavors we picked were excellent and we look forward to going again. the decor was super awesome and superhero themed.

Good selection of vegan ice-cream - Edit
Very easy to find thanks to the big sign. You need to turn left from Suthep road if you face the mountain where the Bangkok Bank is.
Read moreHuge vegan selection of ice-cream! 25 baht per schoop is a good deal, because normally we vegans can find only sorbet at 39 baht per scoop or more expensive.
But not all the tastes are vegan, toppings are not, bakery items are not, drinks aren't vegan. So please be careful.
Pros: Big selection of vegan flavours, good location, low prices
Cons: Toppings and drinks contain milk

Awesome vegan ice cream - Edit
I love their ice creams! Very affordable prices. 1 scoop for 25 THB, 2 for 45 THB. Best flavours for me would be Mango Sticky Rice (that's right, a flavour as good as the famous thai dessert) and Almond with Chocolate.

Be aware that sometimes they close earlier than 10pm...
