Serves meat, vegan options available. Sushi and Pan Asian food where some of the dishes are customizable. For example, you could choose tofu as the protein for your fried rice, curry, or udon. Of the veg rolls two are vegan. Appetizers include edamame and tempura vegetables (ask if uses shared fryer or not).

Rude Staff and Unauthentic Sushi

The owner of this establishment is the most unprofessional business owner I have ever met. Take a look at the replies left on bad reviews. Can’t take constructive criticism. Sushi literally tasted like carnival food.

NOT Vegan friendly!!!

It is the only Sushi place I know that 1) puts mayonnaise in their ginger dressing, 2) miso soup is fish based. Very limited entree options.

Pros: Not too expensive

Cons: Limited vegan options

Not vegan friendly

I went here for carryout on a Friday night and the two employees working the host station were very unclear on what could be made vegan. They told me there was only one roll and one entree (a ginger soy dish) that were vegan. I had to ask a few times about other options for them to finally go speak to the kitchen, after informing me that "vegan is much harder than vegetarian." Avoid this spot if you want clear answers on what is veganizable on the menu.

My favorite

This is my favorite sushi spot in Gainesville. It’s not pretentious or overpriced. The portions are big and the staff is super accommodating.
Try the gado-gado with bananas instead of cream cheese and any of the veg maki rolls. You won’t be disappointed.
