I asked if it's spicy, He said no. I had rice with cabbage, potatoes with lentils and beans and a Protein ball. So the ball was surprisingly very hot🌶️🌶️🌶️. Everything tastes good but the ball was really heavy.

Worth the 35 minute drive - Edit
First time trying them out and I must say I was satisfied by the staff and the food. The staff are lovely people who introduced some herbal tonics to me. The food was delicious and the flavors mixed together really well. I will be coming back for sure!

Quick Ital takeaway meal - Edit
iStronga stays in North Miami as a nice local spot to grab some clean Caribbean food. As you step in you are greeted by solid vibrations coming from those working there. Always nice and respectful.
Read moreBefore this spot used to be called Konata’s. They had a similar concept and served up similar foods, including having a “meal of the day” that they serve for a set price. As you walk in you will find what they have as the meal written on their board or proceed to ask the person at the register.
They’re quick, serving your food in a to-go container and the food is pretty alright. Some days it is a hit or miss. Regardless their meals are hearty, filing and ital, big time.
Pros: ITAL, CLEAN FOOD, EASY ACCESS

Good amount of food, great flavors. The owner also has a selection of elixirs and ferments that he sells. He is a herbalist with good knowledge of plants and nutrition and cares about his customers.

Deliciousness Rastafarian vegan dishes - Edit
Today was my first visit to I Stronga. The dishes the day with absolutely delicious. I got to meet the owner. It was convenient and quick. Can call ahead and have a meal ready. Definitely will return because it's conveniently close to the I-4 Corridor in North Miami. Ital is vital!

I really don’t like giving not so good reviews unless I feel it’s necessary. I ate here when it was with the old owners and everything was A1. I paid $21.40 for one meal (no choices) and a juice. I wasn’t happy about that for take out but I was good. What set me off was my food was bland and piled in a cheap cardboard like container that got soggy immediately and collapsed in my car. I’m all for supporting small businesses but I feel taken advantage of at this point (while cleaning my car).

i arrived and wasn’t sure if I had put in the right address 🤨. there was no sign and the building didn’t look like a restaurant. i entered the building to find that i was indeed at the right location. it’s a quaint little place with wall seating and a kitchen in the back.
