No vegan options

They told us that they had changed the menu, i.e., shortened it. So there were no real Chinese vegan options. However, they managed to prepare a vegan tofu salat, which was good.

Cons: No Chinese vegan options

Nice food, small portions, noticed after eating it serves shark fin soup, wouldn't have eaten here if I'd known they serve this though depends on you really

Nice Westernised Chinese food

We came here for dinner. My meal was tasty and had a good amount of wheat meat and vegetables. The price was reasonable at ¥950 (not including rice, which was ¥160 additional) but the dish could have been a little bigger. They have four vegan options on their dedicated vegan menu. The menu was in English and Japanese. The service was friendly. My partner enjoyed his non vegan meal but also thought it could have been larger.

Pros: Dedicated vegan menu, Authentic Chinese food, Convenient option

Cons: Small portions, Meal came without rice, Dish was a little too salty

Delicious Chinese, Convenient Location

Due to a recent collaboration with the Kintetsu group, Hyakuraku Honten has put together a delicious vegan menu. They offer both lunch and dinner as well as an a la care menu. I had their soy meat lunch plate and, my god, it was so good. Vegan Chinese is a bit difficult to find in Osaka so I’m really happy to see some effort put into this menu. Next time I go, I might skip the set menu and opt for several a la carte options to go with some rice. Definitely worth visiting. Located right across the street from Osaka-Uehommachi station, it’s great for anyone using the Kintetsu Line coming home Kobe or Nara as well as those using Tanimachi 9chome subway.

Pros: Decent vegan menu , Cheap , Convenient location
