No vegan options - Edit
I stopped here based on the other review , but there are no vegan options. The vegetarian burger has dairy in it. And they do not have any non dairy options for coffees/lattes.

Amazing cake - Edit
One of 3 restaurants in Åndalsnes that actually have vegan options. This one is located at a shopping mall a bit outside Central Åndalsnes so might be a bit of a walk but perfect if you have a car and wanna shop and eat. Fantastic atmosphere with cosy fake sheep-fur and benches to sit at and a fake fireplace with lifelike flames. The other half of the restaurant is a conservatory that protects from the wind and rain but still allows for a great view of the amazing mountains and river and allows you to bask in the sunshine. They have at least one vegan cake and one glutenfree cake and the vegan cake was amazing. Fruity and fresh and super tasty. They also have both oatly and almond milk to go with your coffee which has unlimited refills. The coffee was super tasty and had a good round flavour. I asked if they had any tasty vegan options and they have a foccacia with black olives in it that they served with a homemade vegan pesto and fresh veggies. It was absolutely delicious and the serving was generous making it well worth the money. They also got a salad bar if you wanna make your own salad, and chips and other more dinner like options that I have yet to try. Will definitely go again and was very pleased that the staff and the owner was very open to making more vegan options as the previous owners were negative to the idea. Please come and eat here to show them vegan options pays!
