Fresh and tasty - Edit
Stayed at the hotel here for three days so saw the processes and time going into the food at the restaurant. Everything is fresh and homemade and requires a lot of prep and it’s definitely shown in the food produced. There’s a good range of veggie food which I pretty much had all of, great beer burger, amazing fresh pastas and salads, and really enjoyed the breakfasts. Everything can seemingly be veganised and even if you’re not hungry you have to visit for the view. The only thing which I think could be improved perhaps is the staff attitude/ responses which sometimes wasn’t great (for instance there was confusion over wanting a salad for a main and we didn’t get great vibes from the response) but other that that 5/5

Not many options in Maderas - Edit
Around playa Maderas there aren't many options, that's the only reason I've submitted Hush Maderas as a listing on happy cow. On their menu they mark dishes that are vegetarian or have a vegan option, which initially I thought was great. But, as of January 2023 their veggie food is just not good. They randomly add things to the dishes or leave things out, I got no falafels in my burrito but yes cheese so had to bring it back, still no falafel. The manager told me I had to specify vegan when ordering if I wanted a vegan dish, even if I had ordered the vegan dish on the menu 🙃 The stir fry dish was really really salty, the tacos lacked flavor but they're cheap on Mondays ($1.5 each).
Read moreIn short - there's not much to choose from around Maderas so at least at Hush you can get a veg dish and the prices are average for the area ($8-10 per dish). The dish might not be good but it'll be food!
