Only veg restaurant in town - Edit
Newly opened vegetarian restaurant in Ha giang city next to the temple on duong phung hung Street, a little closer to the intersection than on the marker on this map uploaded. All a la carte menu, no English speaking staff or menu but very friendly staff. Delicious food for the only veg restaurant in town. Would go again!

Basic and Homely - Edit
The owner was very accommodating to our vegan requests - the food was cheap and the portions were large. Although very simple with the spring rolls and dumplings coming straight from the freezer it was delicious nonetheless. The venue is a bit hidden, located a hundred or so metres off the main road down the very end of an alleyway. Can confirm it is open from 9am according to the owner.

Took my dad he’s not a vego - Edit
Took my dad who eats plenty of meat etc but is happy to eat vegan with me, he said “it was the best meal I’ve had in Vietnam so far” so that was lovely. And it was really delicious. We had the sweet potato cocoon, sweet and sour chicken, mushroom and chilli, and dumplings. The owner was super chill and happy to cook for us even though we were there a bit early for dinner service

Cool little gem - Edit
Loved this little gem of a restaurant. The owner was great running out to get the fruit to make the fresh juice we wanted.
Read moreSimple food but lovely. We had the steamed dumplings and fried noodles with veg. Options are limited for vegan food in Ha Giang so would definitely recommend.
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Great service , Tasty food

Delicious and nutritious dishes. - Edit
As vegans in this part of Vietnam we had no expectations... but the sweet and sour "vege beef" and vegetable soups we ordered were delicious!

Nice - Edit
It’s a nice place and the menu is translated to English but it’s not labeled what is fully vegan so good to double check. The owner is friendly and we communicated through translation app since he doesn’t speak English and we don’t speak Vietnamese.
Read moreThe sweet and sour was good and big portions, perhaps a bit too much salt though.
They have cookies containing butter, milk powder and egg so the restaurant is not 100% vegan.

Big portions, good food - Edit
I came rather late in the evening and was the only person there. The owner was very nice and cooked everything fresh in front of me. The dumplings (really just fried bread in dumpling form) and sauce were delicious, as was the mushroom dish. It was also quite inexpensive. There are menu items with meat names, but the owner said everything is vegan and there is no real meat (it’s fake). I would definitely recommend visiting.

Really good Food - Edit
The owner is so friendly the portions are really big and the food is so fresh ! The owner is growing some of the vegetables and the mushrooms in his garden behind the restaurant. Best vegetarian restaurant with a lot of vegan options in ha giang!

Overpriced - Edit
After trying two other vegan eateries we went here. The mixed rice was 55K, in my opinion overpriced for what it was. The man didn't speak much or any English and I had to call the phone number for him to come over as no one was there or inside the eatery
Read moreHate to say it as I love supporting vegan eateries but wouldn't come back and just eat a simple rice or noodle dish with veggies anywhere else for less

Wonderful to have access to food catered to vegans even this far out of the city. Unfortunately, it’s not great food, but i’m grateful for it, nonetheless

Not a vegitarian reataurant! - Edit
I'm not sure if this is a vegetarian reataurant? Sure they have vegetarian options but I think the soup was with chicken broth! And many meat dishes on the menu. I've tried talking extensively with him trough Google translate and the conclusion was that he "would make sure we would only get vegetarian" but we got the chicken broth!!!. And again, not a "vegetarian rearaurant". But food tasted good I have to say!

A hidden gem - Edit
The restaurant is a real hidden gem of this town. This was the best vegetarian food I have had in some time traveling through Vietnam. I went there together with our vietnamese friend, she suggested it. She also did all the communication, as owner doesn't speak English. Menu was in English though. When we arrived, there was no one and place seemed empty, but our friend made a call and the owner was there in 5min.
Read moreWe asked him to bring several different dishes of his choice, as we couldn't decide what to order. And he cooked for us (five people) 7 fantastic dishes, for drinks they had beer and soft drinks. The price was reosanable.
Pros: Fast preparation of food, Price , Variety of choices
Cons: Location , Owner doesn't speak English

looked shut down - Edit
The door was open but nbody was inside and the tables were dusty. The neighbor told that we cant eat here. Because of the language barrier we can't specify the shutdown or just closed temporarily.

not worth it. - Edit
I went to this place, because its the only vegetarian place in town. When we came there he did not have anything that was on the menu, we could only choose between a few things. We were hungry, so we chose the things he had. The portions were really small and bad quality and no drinks on the menu... The potatoes were hard inside and it was just not really worth it. We left hungry and a little annoyed, because we did not have time to go to the spot we usually go to: Blue sky. Can highly recommend Blue Sky if youre looking for good affordable food (lots of vegan options!)

Great Vegan food for cheap prices - Edit
The man who served us was amazing. I believe he made our food too. The menu is a bit deceiving because they only had 4 things when we arrived at 7. Nonetheless everything we had was amazing. I would for sure recommend this place, especially because of the free banana rum, tea and the sweet owner. The location is off. It is right next to the huge temple, super easy to find, well signed!

Lovely Food and a Lovely Owner - Edit
Excellent menu, with a variety of vegetable, tofu mock meat dishes. Vegan goat with lemongrass and chilli, and vegan chicken tarmarind sauce were very good. Reasonably priced. Owner was lovely and very friendly. It is a fairly new restaurant, next to a Buddhist temple. Only place in the area that is vegetarian. Highly recommended.
