Fantastic! - Edit
It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Hula’s & what a nice surprise to find a vegan menu with so many options! I had their delicious spring rolls & plantains tonight but I’ve also had their Tofu Yum Yum Bowl, which is fantastic. So so good!

Delicious food with dedicated vegan/vegetarian menu - Edit
This place has a really cool ambience and delicious food! I had the Kingston Curry with tofu, and it had a great kick to it. They have a separate one page menu with vegetarian and vegan dishes, which I appreciated. The cocktails looked inventive and were fairly priced, but I didn’t order any. I will happily return!

Very nice - Edit
Service was fast and friendly. Separate vegan/veg menu was given as standard without having to ask. Great options, good food, portions large. No vegan desserts (only three options on it anyway)

Fun! - Edit
We were pleasantly surprised when we went to Hulu grill as we had no idea they were so vegan friendly! They have a separate vegan menu handed to you the same time as the others. Our server was vegan and very helpful. I had the spicy tofu tacos and my husband had the curry. Both dishes were delicious and adequate portions. We also had spring rolls that were quite flavorful. And there mocktails were creative and refreshing! We will definitely be back!

Impressive Vegan & Vegetarian Menu - Edit
It's been years since I visited Hula's and I've gone through some major lifestyle changes that have changed my way of eating. But I can't deny that the tiki themed restaurant is one I wanted to return to once the pandemic had subsided.
Read moreI was VERY amused when I found out that Hula has an entirely separate vegan/gluten-free menu, and they offer it right when you walk in before seating, which meant it was time to try!
Perusing the menu, I was happy to see intentionality in the menu options available for vegans. I went with their Kona Bowl ($17) with veggie chick'n, rice, beans, cabbage mix, and plantains dressed in a coconut cilantro sauce. My medium sized bowl came out quickly and I was happy that they offered such a great vegan option. My bowl could have used more sauce and a bit more food, but overall, it was a great decision to come and enjoy this meal.
Pros: Dedicated vegan menu, Veggie chicken option available

Delicious - Edit
Went here for a birthday dinner. A whole separate menu for vegan/vegetarian and it did not disappoint. It was lovely to see a whole menu not just an item or two. I got the curry with “chickin” and my daughter got the same with tofu. Only wish they had a dessert option as well to go with their menu.

Separate vegan menu - Edit
They had a separate vegan/vegetarian menu (that we didn’t even have to specifically ask for). Things were clearly labeled. Loved the vibe, drinks, service and food. I got the jungle curry with tofu. So good!!

Jungle curry is delish! - Edit
I was working late one night at the library, and my partner dropped me off some dinner from Hula’s. I was impressed they have a separate vegetarian/vegan menu. The jungle tofu bowl did not disappoint, and it helped me push through a long grading session!

Vegan curry and rum - Edit
Some of the vegetarian options can be made vegan. Recommend the jungle curry. Amazing rum selection. Every bar and restaurant I have ever been to has maybe 3 of the worst mainstream rum brands but Hula's takes their rum selection very seriously. They need to start offering a rum flight.

Great options for vegans - Edit
I've been to Hula's on several occasions. It's a great place if you're dining with people that are not veg because there are choices for you as well as your friends. It's also a great place to go with your veg*n friends.
Read moreThere is a separate vegetarian menu and most items can be made vegan (they even state that on the menu).
The atmosphere is fun and festive. There is also some seating outside on the the street if you want to dine al fresco. If drinks are your thing, they offer a lot of fun tropical cocktails.
They offer tofu, tempeh and "veggie chikin" which is vegan. On my last visit I had the Impossible Burger that they recently started offering. I really loved the burger and had it with a side of their arugula salad with lemon vinaigrette dressing. Make sure to let them know to leave the thousand island dressing off the bun.
Pros: Many vegan options, Fun atmosphere
