Cheap and basic but hits the spot - Edit
Typical Chinese vegetarian buffet food (there are made-to-order options too). As often is the case, some dishes are very oily, and everything on the buffet isn't piping hot, but you can just choose the freshest looking ones. Amazing value and great to be able to get a big hit of veggies, tofu and tempeh. Brown rice is available as well as white.
Read morePros: Good to see what you're getting, Cheap, Nutritious
Cons: A bit too oily/greasy , Buffet food has inevitably cooled down

Amazing buffet and cheap! - Edit
Good variery of dishes - mock meats, tofu, tempeh etc. And so cheap, 20 ringgit for two filled plates. Staff was friendly and could inform on non-vegan dishes on the buffet.

Cheap, fast, tasty - Edit
I went for lunch and it didn’t disappoint. Food came fast and was good. I‘d definitely go again and felt like this is also a place where locals go, which I always appreciate.

Typical Chinese vegetarian food, either make your choice from the buffet order from the menu, also have fresh juices (ask for no sugar if you don't want sugar)

Nice veg place - Edit
The food here was nice, yet not so special in comparison to other veg food we’ve tried in Malacca. They do have a lot of options and also they sell some products in the shop. I tried a mushroom pau and that was nice too.

Unbelivable!!!! - Edit
Definitely one of our BEST restaurant in Malaysia. It's so cool to eat local and typical food. Staff is really nice. Food is very good and dishes are beautiful. And what about the price?!! Never ate for a such price in all Malaysia!

Delicious, cheap and generous portions - Edit
So conveniently located right next to the G Teik Vegetarian Supply store too! I got the Tuesday special vegetarian chicken with turmeric rice and it was delicious. Came with a complimentary mushroom broth on the side all for 5 RM. Service was quick and very friendly. The place was full of locals because they know good, cheap food!

Hands down the best in Melaka! - Edit
I tried several vegetarian restaurants in Melaka and this is the best with really good prices. Very tasty food, both buffet and a la carte. The self serve buffet is actually warm, unlike many Chinese vegetarian restaurants. They also have real steamed brown rice. Most Chinese veg places I've eaten mix a little black rice into plain old white rice, and say it's brown rice, but here they serve real fragnant brown rice. Good and cheap drinks and desserts and take out also available. The energy here is so warm, humble and welcoming, you just can't wait to come back the next day! God bless Hui Yuan 🙏.

Been here a couple of times, also on sunday, and had buffet and a la carte Kiauw Teoh (my favorite). Very tasty food, they used a lot of herbs with the veggies. All tastes good. Delicious!

Very good - Edit
Quite good, especially their buffet. They have brown rice and their noodles were very tasty. I also ordered an a la cart dish, the "healthy coconut nasi" something, which was alright, but not as good. Atmosphere was also pleasant. Would be a regular here.

funny - Edit
when we came there all the locals took food from the buffet so we were doing the same. it was a bit hard to find out what everything is and their english was not the best but they told me all was without animal products and it looked like that. i was just confused. it was a kind of funny there. the food was very tasty and i loved that so many different locals were eating there.

This place has nothing more to offer that the other veg restaurants in town but is still good. They have a buffet as well as a à la carte menu. Everything is very cheap though!

Excellent - Edit
Really loved this place. It says vegetarian, but it's mainly vegan. I enjoyed the tasty laksa soup wit tofu puffs and they have really good dumplings as well. They have a few daily menu items and some food they serve every single day. No fancy place, TL-lights eatery, but prices are very low (about 5 ringit per meal, which is more than enough). Friendly service as well.

They serve fried mee hoon & noodle with a wide selection of dishes. Not too oily. They also serve a few local dishes like Wanton noodle, Nasi Lemak, Assam Laksa, Curry Laksa, etc.
Read moreThe Assam Laksa is a must try. An authentic nyonya dish in vegetarian that can hardly be found !!!
