Nice bagels, but not much on offer

You can get a light meal here, I had the Veggie Combo bagel which was nice. But of the 20 or so variations on the menu that’s the only ‘meal’ bagel on offer. They have a tofuti bagel (‘cream cheese’) and you can get Vegemite or Peanut Butter. But personally I’d head down the road for a vegan toastie next time.

Pros: Lots of different bagel breads (most vegan) , A couple of advertised vegan options

Cons: Not much on offer for vegans ,

Limited vegan options

They have very few vegan options, however you can order the #10 with Roast Veggies, Herbed Feta, and & Rocket ($13.90) and ask to swap the feta to avocado. Most of their staff are happy to do this with no additional charge. They also have vegan cream cheese if you're after something a bit more simple.

Note that there may be some cross contamination when getting a filled bagel, however if you ask they will use clean tongs if this bothers you.

All of their plain bagels are vegan, except for the ones with obvious chocolate/cheese.

They have oat, soy, and almond milk for drinks. Their matcha and chai are the best in Melbourne!

Pros: Friendly staff who are knowledgable of veganism, very busy on weekends

Cons: Limited vegan options, minor cross contamination

Good for the area

My partner and I usually come here for a quick fix as it’s near to us. Not the best vegan food we’ve had but they’re always happy to cater to us. We get the number 4 without the cheese, ice soy coffee is yummy. They have just recently added Tofutti to their menu so have now been adding that to our bagel, I’m sure they will add more and more options as time passes.

AVOID if you do not prefer your vegan/vegetarian food contaminated with meat!!!

Went on a Saturday morning for breakfast, after seeing the listing in HappyCow.

We had to cancel our order of savory bagels, seeing how the fillings were handled. They use the same pair of tongs for meat slices, as well as salads... almost any vegetarian filling that you ask for has already been CONTAMINATED with MEAT, FISH, and POULTRY!!! What to say about the hygiene, and those with allergies?!

I usually avoid eating in places where the handling is insensitive to vegetarian/vegan choices. But it may be a good option for those who would not mind. Just that I have never found a place with such handling listed on HappyCow!

Pros: Decent options for those who wouldn't mind handlin

Cons: Poor handling, insensitive to vegetarian choices
