Great options, relaxed place but a bit pricey

I had a Hub Burger which was huge and tasty with vegan bacon and cheese, my son had a Betsy burger (I think!) which despite being a falafel burger he said wasn’t too falafel-y.

Both really delicious, and big enough that we were glad we hadn’t ordered chips as well.

Place had a relaxed vibe and staff were friendly. Quite expensive for a burger, but for a treat it was great.

Pros: Number of choices, Tasty burgers, Relaxed atmosphere

Cons: Quite expensive

Head here if your in Exeter

From being served by “Viking” to the exceptional food . 100 percent always come back here . Amazing in every way . Ignore the bad reviews on here . The burgers are exceptional and always friendly staff

Pros: Vegan options , Friendly staff , Best vegan food

Cons: Need to order chips separately - a little tip :)

Great vegan burgers

Really good service, food and drinks consistently. They serve a good variety of vegan burgers, all very tasty!

Pros: A good range of vegan choices., Fries and burgers are really good., Probably one of the best vegan burgers in Exeter.

Worst experience of my life.

I was given a MEAT burger instead of the vegan one. Was just a general mistake, but isn’t on. This shouldn’t happen. Myself and my partner was very clear that everything was to be vegan. Sadly I won’t be returning.

Awesome selection

Get there early (or late) and you’re sorted. They’ve revamped the menu and it now offers more and better quality veg-options. The fries are the same skin-on ones they’ve always offered and an excellent selection of craft beers

Pros: 3 vegan burgers, not the standard “bean burger”, Genuinely tasty, Friendly staff

Cons: Not the cheapest burger but worth every penny

Felt a bit let down

We'd visited when they just started doing veggie and vegan food and raved about it. However when we returned they had run out of vegan mayo and couldn't offer even the veggie options and this was 6.30 in the evening in the middle of the week. This was really disappointing as this is just the kind of business we want to support. Local, independent, locally sourced produce, plenty of atmosphere.

Pros: Real hipster vibe, craft beers, great veggie / vegan options (when available!)

Cons: You can queue at peak times, No table reservations, Veggie / vagan options not always available
