the staff at hakka kitchen are very nice, our waitress asked if any of us were vegan before we ordered--very knowledgeable about about veganism. we got popo's dumplings (they even gave us an extra dumpling to make it an even split among 3 people), scallion pancakes, vegan fried rice, and the black tofu dish. highly recommend!

This is authentic food; it was nice cause my teen is not a vegan and he could get salmon and they were super helpful keeping everything separated … I really can’t gush enough about this place…. We found this place while on a day trip to Jax, and it was amazing! Ordered the fried rice and the black tofu, and both were incredible. (If you can't pick between the two though, go for the black tofu 😉) Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. It's a little pricey, but definitely worth the cost. Highly recommend!

It’s out of my budget to eat here more often, but the food is so flavorful! The tofu is fresh and you can taste a difference because of that. The veggies were crisp and flavorful as well. I’d love to try more of the menu which is entirely vegan unless you choose to add fish

I am so happy this place exists! And it is a Tea house with a zen room. Such a great escape if you need one or to have some peace. I also loved all of the informational and wonderful books and pamphlets about being plant based. Not only did I have amazing food, I learned a lot too! The people who worked there are also so sweet. I tried this restaurant with a friend for a quick working lunch. My friend was buying and I chose this restaurant. I was embarrassed how expensive this restaurant was for the amount of food we received. I got the equivalent of 2 appetizers and paid $17 with a modest tip.

They make their own and sell tofu in house! Their tofu is also available at other local shops. I know Nassau Health Food Store in Yulee offers it. The shop itself has a nice interior and exterior. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful. We order the pizza bites, tofu egg salad sandwich, and Alfredo. Be warned, the pizza bites are spicy. The crust is made out of tofu. Eaten there, the pizza bites were ok but much better as leftovers. The Alfredo had good flavor but definitely could have been bigger. We tried both potstickers but way preferred the potato ones. So much flavor. Nothing to complain about with the tofu salad sandwich, so good! We’d return again but might save up for it.

First timer today, We want this place to franchise. We eat mostly macrobiotic and this place delivered. I had the bahn mi sandwich with housemade tofu...every bite was a delight and being on authentic sourdough baguette put it over the top. Husband had black bean bowl with brown rice, roasted veggies, and tofu...a happy burst of flavorful health . Portions are generous. We rounded out the meal with oatmeal cookies and berry smoothies. I hate overly sweet desserts and beverages...another SCORE on that. Loved the food so much we brought home a block of housemade tofu, hummus, vegan egg salad, a pint of housemade soy milk(not sweet), and 2 more desserts. Can’t wait to go earlier in the day so I can sit in the zen quiet tea room and drink some of their hand blended teas. Please eat here and often. New local favorite worth the 35 minute drive!

We visited while in Jacksonville and had the best meal. Pizza was so good, and the sauce and crust homemade! Dumplings with tofu were very good. Had the macaroni and cheese which is more like pasta Alfredo but really good! We had the pumpkin coffee cake warmed up and it was the best thing ever.

Happy cow only let's users put 5 stars for fully vegan/vegetarian, but I would definitely rate 5 stars. We stopped by while we were in town for a short while during a day trip. Our food was made quickly and was so good. I would definitely recommend the Bahn Mi sandwich, and the teas are amazing! I loved the convenience of the drive thru, and appreciated that their plastic bag was biodegradable. Their tofu is made in house which is great if you are on more of a whole foods diet. If you are in the area definitely worth the stop.

We couldn’t choose one thing, so we ended up spending over $120 to feast on what was clean, delicious food! We got the dumplings, two pizzas, the chili, two Mac and cheese, 3 different teas, two coffee drinks and 3 desserts. Well worth it!!! Have leftovers for dinner for all three of us in the hotel room!!!!

Went to a vegan event...7 vegan courses...Yum!! The dumplings were fantastic, I even bought a dozen frozen ones to take home. Like seriously delicisious!!! The curry was superb just the right amount of spice!! Loved the food ...would highly recommend! The app would allow me to give five stars or I would have the app wouldn't allow me to give five stars I would have!!
