Good Asian food - Edit
I ordered delivery from House of Ginger by WhatsApping them and then they charge a small fee for a delivery driver. The food was good, I had Pad Thai (vegan) and vegetarian spring rolls. Note the spring rolls are not deep fried ones like we’d have in the UK.
Read moreWas disappointed that they said they didn’t have any tofu that day (I assumed they ran out) but the food was still good. Would otherwise recommend to anyone craving tofu in Costa Rica, it’s hard to come by!

I do not remember the names of the meals we have ordered, but my family liked the food. I had spring rolls - very light, filling and delicious, served with two sauces.

Dishes with vinegar-so if you are sensitive, don't go there. - Edit
Most of the vegan options are with vinegar, I'm sensitive for that, so if you are sensitive to vinegar I don't recommend eating their.

And the spring rolls we took were disappointing.

More Asian bar than a restaurant - Edit
After reading happy cow reviews I was sure that this experience will be up to 4 star standards. Unfortunately it wasn’t. It felt like all the ingredients would be cooked separately and only at the very end put together on the plate. There was four of us, each of us ordered something different but we felt they all taste quiet the same. The location by the main road and the interior design are also adding to the overall poor experience. Only the service was really helpful and pleasant.

Absolutely delicious!!! Make sure you tell them not to use fish sauce, and you have yourself a winner of a meal! Friendly service, they are so happy to accommodate you and any dietary restrictions you have. Extremely reasonable price!

Friendly stuff that knows about veganism. We took the [censored] pao and general t'sos with tofu and were super happy. They also made virgin Pina colada for us. We will definitely come back!

Like the other previous reviews most items can be veganized the general Taos was amazing as well as the stirfried shiitake plate. Also don’t pass up the opportunity to grab a margarita like you never have had, make sure to like the glass :)

Almost every dish can be veganized which is a huge plus! Tried a few different things, and really loved the General Tso's as well as the Szechuan Vegetables. Service was great, and plenty of outdoor seating.

Great choice in Uvita - Edit
Decided to head to Ginger House for dinner. I ordered the pad Thai based off seeing a pic of it on happy cow. It was great! Also loved how the chili powder came on the side so I could spice it to my liking.

The host/chef was super friendly. We went there late (he said they had already closed) but he still served and cooked for us. The food itself was delicious.

The boy at the counter was really nice and had perfect English and I got to meet the owner, who was really nice as well :)
I really recommend going here- this might also be the best vegan food we had in Costa Rica!
