Previous reviews mentioned chef Lotte, but she's no longer here. Don't worry though, the restaurant is very vegan friendly, adjusts easily and has a vegan dish on the menu (every day)

So… there is a woman and her name is Lotte. She cooks at this place twice a week… and let me tell you- she does a great job🙏🏻
Read moreLucky us , we came on a Tuesday and saw the sign „ Lotte kocht“ outside this little hotel. „Lotte kocht“ means „ Lotte cooks“ as a two day weekly special. Half the menu was vegan the other half was vegetarian. We ordered almost everything vegan from the menu and had just the best time ever. The waiter was very helpful and super friendly. The cheesecake: omg!😱 If you re in Texel/ De Koog on a Tuesday or Wednesday YOU HAVE TO GO!!

Twee keer per week kookt Lotte hier vegetarisch /vegan. Het eten is zeer divers en ongelofelijk smakelijk. Er zijn veel verschillende Vegan opties.

Read moreLotte takes over on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, serving only vegetarian and optionally vegan dishes. For starters I went for the vegan dim sum and my partner for the Betterballs (bitterballen but vegan). Those were both amazing.
As mains I went for the gado gado (daily dish) and my partner for the vegan risotto, those were also amazing. Great attention to detail and the satay sauce on the gado gado was super tasty!
Pros: Almost every vegetarian option can be made vegan
