Great day so maybe the review is biased, but I enjoyed my mala here. Next time I need to try the stir fry option, which I liked even more by taste testing.
Not as huge as other places, but cheap and good.

I tried the Dandan noodles and it was spicy but good. It came with soy meat and the amount is okay for the price. Didn‘t like the eggplant dish much though.

fantastic chinese food and great selection of vegan options! they make it very clear what dishes can be made vegan. honestly some of the best chinese food i’ve ever had will definitely be coming back!

I love mara but most are not vegan friendly, so always happy to see a place that actually puts "vegan" on their menu options.
Read moreThe overall selection has improved significantly the past year. They even added vegan meat to selection!! Service and taste are very good. Spice level was seriously over the top in the past but now seems toned down to be in line with other places. Still one of the more spicy mara places so dont let your ego ruin your meal.
Be very clear when ordering here that you want vegan because they are vegan friendly.

Decent mala place. I went easy on the spice based on Steve’s review, ended up getting some spicy sauce on the side, and added in enough to make my mouth tingle lol
Read moreSadly, the dumplings are now listed as containing egg. I inquired and there are indeed no vegan dumplings at this place. I did however order the pancake and it was far less greasy than any other that I’ve ever had. My favorite one so far. All in all, it was a great dinner!

I personally didn’t like the food here much, the maratang wasn’t up to my taste but the owner was really kind and friendly. There’s a lot of vegan and vegetarian options here and the owner will guide you through the menu too. I ordered the dumplings also which were very different from other dumplings I have had and also the only dish I liked from the restaurant.
