I give them kudos for options. Friends ordered out for a birthday party. My tenders were overfried, nearly burnt, and dry as dirt. The sauce was good. Maybe it’s better if eaten at the restaurant? I’d personally give this one a miss if asked to have it again.

Update: Only the tenders are vegan at this point. Please note that the bun, sauce, and slaw all contain dairy.
Read moreWent for the pop up with peach and pine last summer and the sandwich was incredible. Hot chicken mama has now added vegan chicken to their menu. They have tenders as well as a sandwich. I’ve reached out to find out if their bun and sauce is vegan or if it’s just the chicken. During the pop up the whole sandwich was vegan but it was a whole grain bun where the menu now states potato bun. Will update when clarification is given by restaurant.
