Crepe - Oooh La La - Edit
A couple of good vegan options here. I had the tomato bisque and the vegetarian crepe. Both were made vegan just by asking. Ended with some peach sorbet. Not a lot of vegan options but the ones they had were really tasty.

A little pricy, but good ingredients! - Edit
It was pretty expensive for the small amount I got, but they source local ingredients. I got the vegan bowl that had fried rice, lentils, garbanzo beans, asparagus, some greens, and potatoes. But free as well!

Delicious food with customized service - Edit
One of our party remembered HoQ from the vegan festival in Des Moines so we gave it a try for our lunch. We were very satisfied with everything: food, service, and ambiance. It's spacious and quiet to have relaxing conversation over the meal.
Read moreFrom the short rotating lunch menu, there were a few vegetarian/vegan options. We ordered Chef Soup (asparagus bisque), Wild Rice Burger, Vegan Bowl. Our server was kind enough to point out that the burger bun is made with butter and was able to ask the chef to replace it with vegan baguette. Three of us shared the dishes and all of them were delicious. The portion was perfect, too.
Pros: Healthy and delicious food, Quiet and spacious , Customization of dish for vegan diet
Cons: Entrees are $13-14 for lunch

Local Food and Talented Chefs - Edit
When you are in a non vegan restaurant and you want something vegan, it helps to have a talented chef who has thought about vegan options prior to your visit. Chef Suman and his team have done that. The lunch menu has a vegan bowl loaded with Basmati rice, yellow split peas, carrots with quinoa, local greens and black bean patty
Read moreThe current dinner menu has:
Fried Faro
Fried faro, pickled vegetables, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and veggie crisps(Vegan)
Vegetarian Stew
Yellow peas, local potatoes, Early Morning Harvest hard boiled egg, cilantro, tortillas strips and red onions(Can be vegan)
I also appreciate the thought that went into a special bruch menu they offered in January.
Pros: Friendly team, Talented chefs, Local sourcing
Cons: More vegan options would be helpful
