Vegan pizza 🍕

The first time we went here after becoming vegan, we were very underwhelmed. They hardly had any options. I recently saw that they offered vegan options for their pizza so we decided to give them another try and I’m so glad we did! All their veggie pizzas (6 of them) can be made vegan. We had the “Feeling Good” and it was delicious 😋 I’m excited to go back and try their other vegan pizzas!

Underwhelming

Ordered take-out after reading a bunch of glowing reviews. I couldn't find as many vegan options on the menu as I expected, but I know lots of places are limiting their menus for take-out in these COVID times. Fine. I got it home and... underwhelmed. Portions are very small for the price. My daughter's Gardein chicken strip "meal" was a strip and a half cut into smaller strips with a pile of carrot and celery sticks thrown in. I got the adult version of the meal and I'm not sure what I expected, but something bigger/nicer than this for $14 (plus tax and tip). My husband's burger was a decent size but he also was underwhelmed for the price ($18 for his meal). I would give them another try once everything is open and safe again and we can go into the restaurant, but would not order take-out again.

Pros: Options for vegan meat and cheese substitutes., Good beer.

Cons: Pricy , Small portion sizes

Vegan-friendly brewpub

This is the place to go when you don’t want to drive all the way down to Portland for food. They have everything from vegan pizza to beyond burgers and much more. Everyone in East Vancouver loves this place so it can get a little crowded sometimes but the food and beer doesn’t disappoint.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Has a kids activity corner

Cons: A bit pricey, Can get crowded
