Cool place - Edit
I had the double lentils patty and was blown away, these guys really know how to make burgers. They didn't have any desserts but said they are working on it. There is also a seating area on the terrace!

To start with is the misleading picture of the place that the owners put in the google maps. So it was super windy and raining ice and I stumbled upon this place on my phone and decided to give it a try only to find out that it's a takeaway kiosk. Okay also the misleading description which says that dine-in is available.

So I visited the place with a friend couple of months later and can say that most of the positive reviews are misleading. These people haven't tried anything better and are just sympathetic because this place is vegan and trying to give it more than it deserves. But the sad reality is that this place is stuck in the early 2000s compared to where the vegan food is in the rest of world now. The patties just taste bland and their sauces are lacking. The 'cheese' sauce tastes like bitter turmeric mayonnaise with nutritional yeast. The burgers are very dry because they either use bean or tofu patties.
I would describe everything with "looks over substance and quantity over quality."
It looks like a burger but tastes like something an unexperienced vegan would make in his early years. The recipes require refinement or complete overdo. For 2021 this is a very poor vegan cuisine and I wouldn't recommend it to any non-vegan as a way to familiarise with vegan options.

The cafe is in the city centre. I ordered nuggets and cheese burger, and everything was very very very tasty. The nuggets were given with vegan cheese sauce and it was incredible! And staff is very nice!

Tasty hidden gem - Edit
A very nice little opening in the wall where we ordered a pair of rolls (fish and shavuha) and a non-alcoholic cider. The food was tasty and inexpensive and the staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend for a quick lunch on the way to the next amazing building or park the city has to offer.

Kind of hard to find but it was worth it. The food was really good and the variety of choices is amazing. Really liked the staff, everyone was really kind and friendly. I recommend trying the lemon cookie (a lot of turmeric so if you don`t like it it`s better to pass), vegan nuggets (there is also a lot of turmeric in the "cheese" sauce) and all the burgers and hot dogs are delicious.

One of the best burgers I've ever tried! Staff speaks English, and are very helpful and nice. Only con is that they don't have any seats and no indoor space. Would recommend their second place during winter. But really cool place!

It is worth the hunt to find as the burgers are brilliant. Really big, fresh produce and a patty that actually tastes good. Would recommend getting takeaway and walking round the corner, there is a beautiful park behind the Church of the Spilled Blood. The eating area at Hood not very appealing. Staff have good English.

This place is just a small kiosk in the depth of the yard. Looks disappointing? But it is the gateway there jack outstanding vegan burgers are made! If the weather is good, you can go and gobble it up at the Marsovo Field nearby. Tons of pleasure and satiety!

Read moreI gave a chance to “sweet baby burger” with black buns, crispy tofu, pineapple and sweet chili sauce. After the first bite I was like SWEET BABY JESUS THIS SWEET BABY BURGER IS AMAZING.
The taste is sooo goood.
For now there’s no place to sit, hope later on there will be a real restaurant.
“Hoods” is located in the city center but it’s a bit hard to find.
Anyway - highly recommend to stop by and give it a try.
