Home Burgers Not Burger

If you really have a craving for a vegan burger and fries and don’t feel like cooking dinner or lunch at home, Home Burgers is certainly worth considering for their vegan option. Their vegan burger is a Not Burger (see below for more info on Not Burger) and it scratched the l itch ordered without the usually included house sauce which looked like a rosada sauce—probably not vegan). The fries were okay — certainly not home cut — deep fried, crisp, fresh but not anything special. Tried a bite of the veggie burger, a breaded, deep-fried, minced portobello burger which I found …well, in a word, bad.

The atmosphere was comfortable—covered outdoor seating—and informal. Ketchup, mustard, and mayo (not vegan) on all tables.

Overall, it satisfied the craving for burger and fries dinner when I didn’t feel like cooking.

Pros: Fairly healthy vegan burger, Comfortable, informal ambiance, Quick and easy

Cons: I’d avoid the veggie (portabello) burger, Good but nothing exceptional
