Stans bästa indiska? - Edit
Otroligt många veganska alternativ på menyn, och allt vi testade var suupergott och prisvärt!! Kyparna var väldigt vänliga och det var mysig stämning. Inga veganska desserter dock, men rekommenderar ändå varmt!

Several vegan options - Edit
Indian food is very vegetarian friendly, but not all Indian restaurants have so many vegan options to choose from as Holy Cow. I enjoyed dinner there with friends a while back and it was great! In addition to great food, the staff was really friendly and helpful.

Large selection of vegan options - Edit
Lots of vegan options to choose from and they also have options with fake meat rather than sticking to vegetable based dishes. The dish I had was delicious but the chicken was a little too realistic for me although that's just my personal taste.

Indian comfort food! - Edit
„Holy Cow“ was the first Indian restaurant I have tried here in Stockholm so far and I think it will stay one of my absolute favourites! The staff is kind and the vegan menu is great and so long that it is really hard to decide what to take! In the end, we went with the vegan Thali, which I can only recommend! Three different dishes (including a mock chicken curry), Naan bread, salad and rice - not especially cheap but also not extremely expensive.

Best indian food in Sweden! - Edit
I've never felt like I miss out on anything being vegan at this place. They have vegan starters, mains and desserts. The vegan tamarind chicken is our favorite but if I don't want fake meat I go for the Gobi Manchurian and Peshwari naan!

Sweet people, lots of vegan and vegetarian options - Edit
Small restaurant with a really nice and thoughtfull staff.
Read moreThe menu is extensive, they have a full page of vegetarian options and a full page of vegan options. The nan bread is optional vegan, as well as the desserts.
Prices of the main courses are mostly between 14-19 euro's (140-190 kr). Comparing to other restaurants, this is a good price. Also, the amount of food you get, is in line with the price and enough for a full grown adult.
(I had the Vegan Palak Chicken and it was really good)
10/10 i would go here again!
Pros: Friendly staff, Many vegan options, Pleasant environment

Tasty and cozy - Edit
Holy cow has an great atmosphere, cozy yet open and airy. Their food is good, not spectacular but they sure have put in the effort to make the traditionally Indian dishes vegan friendly. For example, a vegan Chicken tikka masala!

Nice Indian food - Edit
A really good selection of vegan dishes with soymeat which goes well with the dishes and add some substance. The vegan Peshwari nan bread is really delicious. Staff is friendly and the place is cosy. The dishes are delicious and compared to a lot of places in Sweden it is spicy when it says it's spicy.

Not guaranteed meat free - Edit
I’ve been to this place many times and they have very tasty dishes. I thought I could trust that as a vegan you wouldn’t get anything wrong because of their clearly labeled menu but unfortunately this last time there was a big piece of chicken in my food. I found another review that mentioned the same thing so, vegans beware.

In my opinion, the holy cow restaurants are the best places to get indian food in stockholm. They have vegan version of several dishes (and lassie!) which are no where else to be found. Great value. Excellent food. Friendly staff.

excellent Indian food - Edit
This is a great restaurant with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Vegan options are clearly labeled in the vegan section or with a big V. There are about nine main courses, a couple appetizers, three vegan naans, and dessert. I had the onion Bajaj and loved it. The vegan chicken jalfreze was awesome and so was the naan. Highly recommend. The menu is only in swedish, but the staff and/or Google translate make quick work of it.

Our new favorite Indian in Stockholm! - Edit
Holy Cow Vasastan just opened up a few months ago, and it is a place we will be sure to return to!
Read moreThere's a separate part of the menu that is labeled Vegan (as well as one Vegetarian) and a few vegan starters as well.
We had the Vegan Tikka Sizzlar, Dal Makhni, Shabaji Kofta and Vegan Tikka masala, Papadum, Samosa and Union Vadji (which, by the way, is also gluten free!). Everything was delicious and not too spicy, they have vegan soy yogurt sauces and and soy "chicken" meat.
The server was awesome, knew exactly what we were asking for and told us that this restaurant is especially focused on vegan customers, which was obvious!
Pros: Many vegan choices, Great service, Delicious food
