Vegan options on the seaside - Edit
It’s nice to be able to have vegan ice cream on the seaside. The vegan ice creams are kept in the back and the menu is tucked away, so if you can’t see it, just ask. The ice creams were nice and I’ll be trying all the flavours.

Vegan options weren't obvious, so I had to ask, but there were a good amount of flavours available. I had the mango ice cream in a tub. Very nice and refreshing on a warm day.

*EDIT* I went again a couple of weeks ago on the bank holiday and asked for a vegan waffle and the young lady serving me said it was not possible as the waffles are not vegan??? Which concerns me as she's either unaware that they are or worse, we've been eating non-vegan waffles all this time... *EDIT*

We were staying locally and the hosts included a voucher for a free ice cream from Holy Cow 🐄

I do however have a problem with anyone handling food and money with the same hands.
The young women who was serving was indeed wearing gloves to place the ice cream into the cones but she was also taking money with those same hands “yucky” am I being fussy I don’t think so.
The germs that are passed around by currency is simply disgusting and vendors should think about that.
In the end I had a scoop of lovely lemon sorbet (in a tub)
Pros: The lemon sorbet, My husband (non vegan) loved the morello cherry
Cons: Gloved hands used for the cones and money😒

Very friendly ice cream vendor with good vegan options. I got a 2 scoop chocolate coconut ice cream in a cone, which was delicious. Quite possibly the best ice cream I've had. I will definitely return again on my next visit.

LOTS of options from just ice cream to waffles, cookie dough and cheesecake. We had a waffle with biscoff sauce, mint ice cream, strawberries and marshmallows and a biscoff cookie dough with chocolate sauce, mint ice cream, Oreo crumb and crumbled chocolate!

Vegan soft scoop ice cream - Edit
I was excited to have the option of an ice cream cone at the beach and the ice cream had so much flavour. I had mint choc chip and strawberry. There was also vanilla and caramel. I tried the waffle later in the week. It was a treat to have something different, but the ice cream is still the star of the show for me.

Tried the vegan mint choc chip ice-cream from here, it was really delicious, not too sweet or filling and perfect for the hot weather! 😋 would highly recommend stopping here, if I could I would've gone back to try one of their waffles on the menu too! Staff are very helpful in letting you know what the options are as I couldn't immediately see the vegan options available, very friendly and accommodating!

Read moreMy husband and kids had a iceream in a cone (mint and salted caremel) and i asked if the waffles could be made vegan and I was pleased to be told yes they could. I had a waffle topped with vegan chocolate sauce and oreos. Served with salted caramel ice cream. Also available was strawberry ice cream , and vegan magnums etc.
Pros: Nice little selection. Very yummy!

We could only see pre-wrapped vegan icecream on the sign so asked and the vendor was very knowledgeable- there was a long list. Was happy to check ingredients for me too- the mint choc only has soy lecithin in- not soy based. Very tasty icecream and great to have on the front

Its just like an ice cream stand type place but they have a whole menu of amazing and some unique vegan options. I got a chocolate and vanilla ice cream. It tasted so good. The staff where also super nice.

On asking for dairy free options the friendly server produced a list including lots of firm favourites-Swedish glacé flavours, sorbets, magnums etc. Which was brilliant because I'd not seen any other ice cream vendor on the seafront offering dairy free options. She even let me check the waffle cone packaging to check the ingredients before ordering, (she would have checked but didn't have her glasses)! Good friendly service and a happy vegan 😊
