Just wonderful - Edit
Truly wonderful vegan options here! The staff is friendly and knowledgable about what vegan means, just make sure you let them know because some items are marked as vegan on the menu but actually have cheese (paneer) or butter in them. They will be able to advise about what is or isn’t vegan.

Covered in coriander - Edit
The meal was sooooo tasty however it was covered in coriander. 100% worth going but if you’re not a fan of the plant then obviously ask not to add it to the dish. Overall, a very tasty meal. Would highly recommend.

Nice patio - Edit
The menu is well marked for vegetarians and the staff knowledgeable about vegan adjustments to the menu. The naan is vegan here which I was super excited about and it was delicious! The aloo ghobi was ok - it had a nice base of flavor but none of the spiciness typical of US-Indian food. The patio was lovely and quiet because it's off the main drag.

Delicious food but quite expensive - Edit
Hola Indian offers several vegan and vegetarian dishes if you are in the mood for Indian food in Jaco. The staff are patient and the space is nice but it is pricey. My lentil dish was 6300 Colones (US$10) and I had to order rice in addition (another 4000 Colones, or US$6). Total came to nearly US$20 after service and tax.

Have eaten there multiple times. Have never had a bad meal and they are often willing to make off-menu dishes. Friendly, wonderful owner.

Delicious! - Edit
Outdoor restaurant with patio covering. Menu has labeled vegan items but make sure to clarify with staff. Some of the items listed vegan said cottage cheese and yogurt on it as well. Staff was nice and spoke English. Everything we ordered was delicious! Would give 5 stars if went completely vegan.
