Decent food, interesting place - Edit
I have the vegan schnitzel and potato salad. Both were good. The schnitzel seemed like it may have been a gardine or Morningstar chick patty. I wish I would have tried the vegan chili.

Great authentic German food - Edit
Great German experience with a few vegan options! Restaurant is huge and very authentic. Had pretzels, vegan schnitzel, and some fantastic beer! The schnitzel was delicious along with their sides. Decently priced if you have USD, but hurts the wallet in CAD.

Just like Germany - Edit
My wife and I stopped here during our road trip. We were so surprised to see a Hofbrauhaus outside of Germany. We were just stopping in to have a beer and to see if it was similar to the Hofbrauhaus in Germany. We were pleasantly surprised that the ambiance and atmosphere is the same as that of Germany and even happier to see that they had vegan options.
Read moreWhile in Germany I was eating a lot of vegan Currywurst, so I ordered that while here in Buffalo. It was delicious, the curry sauce not quite as flavourful as the German version but delicious nonetheless.
I highly recommend going here for a beer and getting an authentic German experience.
Pros: Vegan Currywurst , Cool atmosphere , Friendly service

Good food + dog friendly-ish - Edit
We made a last-minute stop here on the way to Niagara Falls. We were able to make a reservation via their website. Only two dedicated vegan options but both were good. We sat outside with our dogs. At first we weren’t sure we could bring our dogs based on staff comments but we explained that our dogs were quiet and in a stroller/sling and they let us. Wasn’t a lot of grass to walk them but we made it work. Parking is run by a separate company and costs $5.

Cons: Debatably dog friendly , $5 parking

Lively Venue with vegan options - Edit
This place is a huge, busy dining hall with live German music. They brew their own beer. Vegan options are Schnitzel with cucumber salad and frankfurter platter with curry sauce and fries. I had the schnitzel and enjoyed it. It tasted so much like the real thing. I will try the other option when I return.

Cons: High noise level , Very busy/crowded
