Very small place that feels a bit too busy. Food was ok. I really didn't like the vegan burger I had (maybe someone who loves the taste of meat likes it but for me as a vegan it wasn't what I want my food to taste like) but my boyfriend had the vegan Oesterzwamshoarma and that was really tasty. So, I guess it depends on what you eat and your personal preferences. I am also not the biggest fan of the atmosphere and the interior of this place. It's not cozy. It looks like an old garage, the ceiling is not very inviting and they made some attempt to make it look a bit fancy by adding some expensive looking lights on the wall. I personally just didn't feel very gezellig there and wouldn't go back, also because the prices would match a more fancy place.

This is a great restaurant with good food. Had the dumplings and the Cajun stew, which both tasted really good. Certainly a place I go back to!

Knus restaurant met een kaart met verschillende veganistische gerechten. De dumplings zijn hemels, maar ook de andere gerechten waren goed. De sheperds pie was wat te zout voor mijn smaak, maar verder goed. Het was maar goed dat we hadden gereserveerd, want het restaurant zat vol.

A lovely laid back little restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. From the red tulips on the table to the quirky lamp this is a delightful place.
Read moreI had the Mexican bites as starters and the super tasty burger with orange bun and peanut sauce for mains. The food is beautiful to look at and tastes as good as it looks.
I hope I get a chance to come back and try the dessert as after the starter and main all I had space for was the fresh mint and lime tea.
The food is fresh and reasonably priced if you are using a hard currency. Traveling on a soft currency (the current exchange rate is 16:1) the starter, main, tea and glass of wine cane to R500 - but it was worth every cent. Heel lekker!

Lovely, cosy little restaurant with lots of vegan dishes as well as vegetarian dishes that can be made vegan. We had the mixed starters, Thai curry and broodje braadworst. Everything was very tasty. Definitely recommended!

Love going here, because they have a lot of vegan options. And they are very creative with flavors and food combinations. As they change the menu often, you never have to choose the same dish twice.

The Indonesian lunch dish I chose was delicious, flavoursome and unusual. Lovely to see some originality on the menu. I also had a pear/plum tart which was super tasty. Lots of vegan dishes here too. Obviously it would be better if it was all vegan, which, looking at their menu, I think is easily doable.

Serving not natural at all with a very awkward atmosphere. The tempest pancakes had weird taste that you gradually got used to it, but still not anything that you would find tasty. Disappointing experience overall

Went on Friday evening and reserved seats beforehand. The restaurant was completely filled and still people were coming in to ask when seats would be available or to order take out. We had the soup of the day to start (peanut soup, I LOVE peanuts), the chickpea burger and poke bowl for main, and mango pie and chocolate coconut pie (basically a Bounty in pie-shape) for dessert. The service was very prompt and nice. Would recommend and certainly am going to visit again.

Had a yummy vegetarian lunch here today. It's a really nice place with a great interior and good music too. The menu is simple but very tasty. I enjoyed the beetroot burger with goats cheese. My husband had a tasty salad.

Cozy place and friendly people. Burgers, soups and salads they sell and sweets. They indeed know what vegan is. The prices are low. I paid 17 euro for burger, soup, cake and two drinks! The Mexican burger was tasteful. I certainly will come back for a goid and quick meal.

i was looking for a nice healthy place to eat and then i found this place! the menu isn't that big, but you can make your own burger or chose one. it was so so jummy and the meals were big! really love this place and definitely going back!

We started with a lovely carrot/ginger soup and a leek soup (both vegan). My partner had the vegetarian beetroot burger and I had the vegan Mexican burger. Both were really good.
We took carrotcake and a brownie to go. Not sure if it's always the case, but today all desserts were vegan.
