Wonderful discovery! - Edit
We stumbled onto this adorable little off-the-beaten-path place and were so glad we did. My husband was pleased with the wide variety of kombucha; he just wanted a little refreshment. I was hungry and ordered a chai latte with soy and a Rufus Bowl with tofu and hold the egg. It was fabulous!

Cute little place - Edit
The vegan donuts are a bit dry but definitely not terrible. Not as many vegan options as I was expecting but the cashew butter toast was delicious. I didn’t get coffee, but I’m sure if you’re a coffee lover this might be a place for you.

Cool Atmosphere - Edit
HiVolt is in a very pretty area in New Orleans. Great to walk around! They make a mean matcha latte with coconut milk, have decent vegan donuts, and a lovely selection of local kombucha.

Friendly, great coffee - Edit
I only visited once for a quick caffeine hit before going to a brewery, but it was a nice visit. My coffee was delicious, the guy serving me was nice and friendly, and it seemed like a cool spot to hang out and savour your time.
Read moreI did notice some vegan options for food but didn't take the time to remember what exactly they were.
Something I said quite often during my trip to New Orleans, if I were a local I'd be in HiVolt on the regular!

Awesome place for vegan food! - Edit
Lots of vegan donuts, muffins, etc as well as vegan entrees. They try to reduce waste as well by using reusable mugs, cups, plates, and silverware. Cool neighborhood too.

vegan carrot cake muffin! - Edit
Lovely staff, great atmosphere and several vegan options. Some of the options are quite pricey, but the vegan carrot cake muffin (they almost always have it) is delicious and HUGE for about $4. They bake their baked goods on site and have local artwork on the walls.

great coffee and treats - Edit
I frequent this place a few times a week! It’s my go-to coffee shop. They always have several vegan treats available, including donuts and bars. For a healthy lunch, I recommend the Bali Beach Bum salad or the Serenity Now bowl with tofu...both balanced and filling options. They always have a few different iced teas available, as well as an impressive selection of bottled juices kombucha.

love the atmosphere - Edit
Lovely cafe in the Garden District with plenty of seating and staff. Ordered the cashew basil bagel with an orange blossom iced tea and loved both! Have quite a few vegan options on the menu and also baked goods on offer. Great vibe here. Portions are quite small but delicious all the same.

Go-to breakfast joint during conference - Edit
A brisk walk from the New Orleans Convention Center, HiVolt became my go-to breakfast joint during a recent conference. The cashew basil toast and Super V were excellent, the vegan baked goods fun to try (donuts are more like donut-shaped cakes, but tasty), and the ambiance perfect for a morning cup of tea.

Sweet, sweet find! - Edit
Stumbled across this place whilst catching the bus home (I'm new to NOLA, so still exploring!). When I saw the chalkboard sign outside saying "VEGAN DONUTS & COFFEE" I immediately pulled the cord to be let off! I demolished a lemon flavored donut, which was incredibly delicious, and resisted purchasing another one of their tantalizing flavors (such as Kaluha, Raspberry, and Sweet Potato). I will definitely be back!

Get over there! - Edit
I absolutely LOVE this place. The atmosphere is fantastic, the coffee is some of the best I have EVER had and then there's the food. Oh, the food! Vegan BLT? Yes, please! VEGAN DONUTS?! Mmhmm. They have em. And they're wonderful. They have more vegan deliciousness, but I must insist you go by and scope em out. You won't regret it.
