Good vegan food, also serves foie gras.

The vegan brunch items here are consistently very good. My only complaint is that they have foie gras on the menu as well which I really have a hard time with.

A great dinner!

I really enjoyed my experience at Hillbilly Tea. The food (BBQ tofu, broccoli, and roasted sweet potatoes) and holy basil tea were excellent and the servers were friendly and helpful. I'll definitely go back.

Ok, would love to try the brunch

My husband and I went here for dinner one night of our trip where we wanted something a little fancy. It has a great atmosphere and our waiter was great and they have a good selection of tea. They were out of their fried okra appetizer, but we got portabello mushrooms instead and it was incredible! It seems like their menu changes and the vegan option on the night we went was the tofu stack. It was layered with eggplant on a bed of barley. Sadly it was just ok. It was disappointing because it was a pricey meal. But we'll give them another try. I would love to try the brunch.

Pros: atmosphere, service, tea

Cons: one entree choice, just ok

More downtown vegan options + brunch!

This place is rad if Ramsi's is too crowded for you on Sundays! Delicious vegan options - most notably the pancakes - and they make everything from scratch. Lunch and dinner are good too - this place can do some amazing things with tofu!

Not the cheapest out there, but a bit more upscale than your average brunch joint, and very nice looking inside. Worth checking out for the vegans at least once.

A strange FYI, they do not currently have decaf coffee. But regular is there, as well as lots of teas, some of which you can buy in bulk to take home.

Pros: vegan pancakes, cool motif inside, downtown location
