The options are extensive for vegans. The last full page of the menu is vegan and vegetarian, the latter adaptable to vegan. The sauces range from curry to broth to peanut sauces. Jasmine rice or brown rice are the side accompaniments. The vegetables are not overcooked; they are large pieces, firm and bright, fresh colors. The entrees themselves are not drowning in sickly sweet or heavily salted sauces; the sauces are done just right. Also the food is not greasy. Service is excellent: it is slower paced, designed to let you stay awhile. We've never made a reservation, and always been able to be seated. There are two dining rooms. Parking is limited near the restaurant, but there is parking garage, a few blocks south of the restaurant, and the neighborhood is safe and walkable.
I came here for soup and appetizers because I was in the mood for a light meal, but they had a lot of tofu and veggie options on the menu. I had the dumpling soup and the spinach potstickers which were fantastic. The tofu triangles were a little dry, but not bad. I will try this place again.
