Read moreThere was so much choice and all of the vegan options were 10/10. We had the agedashi tofu, yellow curry gyoza and general tsao cauliflower and every dish was delicious! The cocktails were fabulous.
We will be back to try out the banquet (when we can prepare and come on an empty stomach)
All omnivores enjoyed their meals too.
Pros: Lots of options, Great theme and decor
Cons: 10% charge on Sundays (& asked for tips!)

Great selection of vegan options. My partner loved the yellow curry and I really enjoyed the mushroom bao I normally don’t like mushrooms but these were delicious 🤤 Service was rather quick. Meals came out as they were cooked not all at once, which we didn’t mind. Decor was bright and had a good vibe. Would recommend sitting out the back as it gets quite noisy inside. Also good selection of drinks and some interesting cocktails.

What a great place. Literally 100m walk from our hotel. The food was amazing as well as the atmosphere. Wish I had known about this place earlier. Will be coming back when on holidays next.

Agadashi tofu dish and the corn fritter dish are both lovely!!! Shared with a friend and they were generous servings, didn’t need anything else! Definitely going back to have lots more on the menu, plenty of vegan options!!! 👍🏼

Hideaway is one of my favourite non-vegan restaurants on the Gold Coast. Heaps of vegan dishes on the menu and great atmosphere. You have to try the General Tso’s cauliflower. It was the fave dish of the night, even for the omnis!

Doesn't look like much from the street but this place is truly a 'hideaway' with an extensive interior and outside courtyard space at the back modelled on an Asian hawker lane. A huge menu - Asian 'street food's - offers a number of options for vegetarians and vegans including tofu in spicy dashi broth, steamed mushroom wonton, crispy tofu bao with lettuce and pickles, cauliflower in coconut yoghurt pesto with pomegranate, yellow curry of eggplant, tofu & mushroom poke bowl, vegetarian fried rice. Food is delicious and beautifully presented. The service was welcoming and friendly.
