The fried Brussels sprouts were fantastic! - Edit
We got the fried sprouts and the jerk tofu tacos on corn tortillas. The tortillas were a tad dry and absorbed the tofu sauce so they fell apart. But they were still a respectable meal. Not super flavorful, but at least it was tofu and filled the belly. It came with a handful of house made corn tortilla chips and a salsa with a small hint of cilantro flavor. Not enough to cause noticeable soapiness.
Read moreThey do have a tofu side for $4, so if you’re not in need of all the corn products, that could totally be used to pad out the Brussels sprouts.
Speaking of, the deep fried Brussels were the star of the show. Soaked in a balsamic-esque teriyaki sauce, topped with pickled ginger and cashews. The flavors worked so well together! There’s plenty of sauce if you choose to mix the plain tofu in there.
For what it’s worth, i didn’t notice any meaty smells or flavors on the Brussels, so i suspect they may have separate fryers. (2 hours later, i still have no negative intestinal reactions)
Pros: Flavorful Brussels sprouts
Cons: patio isn’t covered, so it’s closed if raining, Corn taco could be better.

Salads are the only vegan option? - Edit
My husband and I stopped here for lunch. I asked the waitress if the black bean burger was vegan, she was gone for at most 2 minutes and said no. I asked what could be made vegan and after a suspiciously brief second disappearance, she informed me the only thing vegan is the salads. I don’t feel that she truly asked, is that me being hungry and cranky?? I don’t know, but Eat at your own risk I guess.

Underwhelming - Edit
Appreciate vegan menu options anywhere but they do needs to work on upgrading the dishes here. We got the Asian crunch salad, jerk tacos and black bean burger. The tacos didn’t come with any type of cream sauce like in the picture of another post here, and unfortunately there were 2 pieces of meat in one of them. The staff did great at trying to make up for the mishap but I was scarred as I had chewed it. The burgers and salad were just ok.

Tasty and kind - Edit
We really enjoyed the vegan tacos and vegan California Burger. The waitress was nice enough to tell me the fries that come with the burger are cross contaminated due to the frier. This made me feel like the people actually cared about my diet choices!
Read moreA little pricey, but lunch was reasonable.
