Friendly staff. Nothing marked vegan on the menu. Smelt strongly of the hot rock steaks they do & people order. Thank goodness i was near the window so I could open it. Not a snazzy pub vibe more like a pub, pub vibe. They made the veg risotto vegan for us. It was tasty. The chef said next time to let him know in advance & he could make something vegan especially for us, which was nice. The pumpkin salad was good too. It is labelled vegetarian on the menu but is actually vegan. The veg spring rolls and chips are done in the same fryer as meat/parmas so they put the spring rolls in the oven for us. They weren't very cooked but were hot. The inside filling had something small and beige in it that looked non vegan but they said it was. I wanted to ask what it was but decided just not to eat them.

Excellent service & awareness of vegan food from a pub! - Edit
Pubs have traditionally been a tough place to get a good vegan meal - and I’m very excited to see places are giving vegan options a go! There were several items on the menu, ranging from healthy salads to fried chips & spring rolls. I had the pumpkin salad and it was amazing! I also tried a few chips and they were old style crispy chips!
Read moreWhen I ordered and asked what are the vegan options, I was giving a few extra options they can veganise on the menu, then the waitstaff came back with more options for me to choose from.
Their service was great! More than accommodating.
