Bland and overpriced - Edit
It was pretty bland for what it was. I got the rice and veggies dish, it just didn't have any flavour. The dessert which was a taro and chia pudding kinda thing was a bit better but overall this wasn't a memorable restaurant. I got sat way back into the corner as well which felt a bit strange. This was more pricey relative to the avg veg place in taipei, but the quality did not correspond to the price.

We sampled a range of dishes and they were all tasty, although I feel Yang Shin is better. The buckwheat tea was soothing and we appreciated the generous refills.
Read moreThe staff was kind and attentive, but a little shy with English. Non-vegan items are labeled but the menu was a bit of a puzzle, as some English translations were missing or misplaced (some main dishes were pictured and only in Mandarin). But we managed to communicate our preferences and we were delighted with our choices.

Enjoyed there tasty dishes,but portions were a bit too small. Not a huge menu,but rather pricey for what you got. Worth avisit.

One of my favorite restaurants of all time - Edit
Very good prices and really delicious food. This is a place I like to take people who don’t think you can have a satisfying plant-based meal. The staff are very friendly and attentive and ask questions about your diet to be sure the food fits your dietary needs. I highly recommend the kung pao lion’s mane mushroom dish (it’s always everyone’s favorite), the fried turnip dumplings, and the rice dumplings, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The restaurant is very clean and modern. I’ve also been to their Kaohsiung location which has mostly the same menu and a less casual vibe.

The food is priced a bit higher but it’s in a department store and has a wonderful atmosphere so it’s to be expected. Items are clearly marked and the staff is willing to answer any questions you may have. Credit card use results in a service fee.

Elegant restaurant in Sogo Department store - Edit
The restaurant is located at the 11th floor of Sogo Zhongxing Department store. The space is elegant and the service is very kind. Price is fair and reasonable. The food is good and tasty.

Tasty lunch - Edit
My Taiwanese mother in law really likes this place and was excited to take me bc I'm vegan. She and I, along with her mom, had lunch one afternoon and were all happy. I tried some new dishes that I hadn't previously tried anywhere else and wasn't disappointed. It's not a place that I would eat regularly due to the prices but for a lunch out on a weekend it's nice. Definitely go with a few people so you can try more dishes! :-)
