Lovely little bakery, good value for money. Cinnamon bun is gorgeous, wild mushroom flatbread is good but could have a bit more flavour.

Worth a visit! - Edit
Fantastic bakery! We popped in and had a cinnamon bun, a frangipane bun and some filter coffees with oat milk which were delicious! Do bare in mind that this is definitely more of a bakery than a cafe, so no inside seating and only one table outside, and no coffee options other than filter coffee. Well worth a visit though as the cakes we had were gorgeous. My only regret was not buying a loaf whilst I was there!

The cinnamon buns, focaccias and bread were delicious, and the staff is so nice! The whole yard has a super nice vibe, and you can eat your breakfast at the tables outside!

Incredible sourdough & pastries - Edit
Absolutely love Heyl Bakery! These guys are making incredible bakes with sustainable ingredients, all sorts of things you just won't find anywhere else, sourdough cinnamon buns and other incredible sweet inventions and the best bread around. It's lovely to visit the yard and stop for a coffee, pizza or sandwich from the bakery.

Heyl bakery is a wonderful little all-vegan bakery. They do bread and focaccia and four varying sweet options each day.
Read moreI went a few times and tried a cinnamon bun, white chocolate and apricot cookie, and rhubarb bostock.
All really tasty, but I have to give five stars for the rhubarb bostock alone. It might be the best pastry I've ever had in my life. The middle is very soft, almost like a very firm custard, and then the bottom and edges are crispy, closer to biscuit. The flavours are rhubarb and almond, so it has a slight marzipan quality to the filling, and it's topped with a crumble. Wow, absolutely incredible. If they're selling this when you visit definitely buy one, but all the others are really delicious too!

Lovely couple who own the business, locally sourced ingredients, lovely sourdough bread, lush treats and they even do classes so you can learn how to do it yourself! My favourite is the tahini swirls and their pizzas 🤤

The cinnamon buns are incredible! - Edit
I just happed to spot this bakery on Google maps whilst on holiday down in Plymouth. We got some Cinnamon buns and Foccacia both. Both were light and fluffy and super tasty. And 100% vegan, which is exciting! Only downside is the coffee not being takeaway, but the reason of not finding compost at home take away cups is acceptable in my book!
