Saved Me From Hunger

First impressions of this place were very good, it was a small, well-formed, clean venue and I was greeted by a rather enthusiastic, though friendly, server. While there is only one vegan sandwich on offer here, the naked heffer, what a sandwich it is. It was deliciously fresh and it tasted very much like a faux version of a Big Mac, which was a welcome surprise. I also got a portion of the seasoned fries which were excellent as well. Despite not being the cheapest sub I’ll ever get, I would say it was worth the money and I’d be more than willing to repeat my order another time.

Would give it 5 stars if I could

Happy cow only let's you give 5 stars for fully veggie/vegan menus. But I have dreams about the vegan heifer. If you get a chance definitely give hero a try (the fries are great too)

Pros: Portions are huge, Taste is amazing, Service is great

Good, new concept, pricey

This is an attempt to start a franchise I think, basically a hot sub sandwich place like the Philly cheesesteak place in Belfast that closed down. This is very clean and new looking. It’s the sort of thing I’d normally expect to find in London.
There’s a very small menu, even for meat eaters. There are currently 2 options for non meat eaters: a vegan minced steak sandwich, with either a cheese or vegan sauce, or a veggie filled one. I tried the former.
It was well prepared, hot and very well presented! The taste was strongly influenced by the sauce and spring / crispy onions. It seemed very fresh. The veggie bed too was not at all uncanny- totally great. I split it and thought that one sub would do two people, and is halved perfectly.
My only flaw would be the price - it’s £12 for one sandwich.
Note to anyone calling in- the location is a bit odd but there is a very cheap off-street carpark beside it.

Pros: New and interesting, Very tasty, The veggie meat wasn’t weird!

Cons: Pricey, Very limited seating, Location is a little strange
