Not great - Edit
Food was not good, hummus was completely inedible, tasted like burnt plastic. Filled up on overly salty potatoes and dressingless salad instead. Thank god for the free tap water! Didn’t bother with dessert.

Tasty buffet - Edit
Great veggie spot in Gamla Stan. Return visit to Stockholm and Heritage a year on! Both times, almost everything in the buffet was vegan. Great variety of hot and cold options. Tofu veg curry and meatballs particularly good. Would recommend eating outside as inside gets quite warm. Also quite an affordable option in comparison to a lot of other places. Top tip: the drawers under hot food dishes contain more food!

Welcome vegan option in Gamla Stan - Edit
A welcome restaurant for any vegans on Gamla Stan for the day. Hummus, rice, potatoes, falafel, dal soup, lentils...
Read moreBuffet style for 140kr each and water available.
Varying reviews on some of the dishes but still worthwhile stop here. Potatoes nicely spiced. Soup was very good. Hummus about average. Falafel were a funny texture, different than what we are used to and a little greasy. Also had black beans, lentils and salad.
Not the best examples of these dishes you have ever had but solid vegan option while you are out and about.
Pros: Plenty of options, Good food
Cons: Falafel not the best, Can get crowded

Healthy and wholesome food - Edit
Came here based on the previous reviews on a recent short trip to Stockholm. When I mentioned that it was my first visit and asked about vegan options, the guy behind the counter explained how the buffet works to me. Most dishes were vegan-all but three. I couldn’t try everything, there are warm items, salad options as well as soup and plenty of bread. I enjoyed my healthy plant based lunch at a reasonable price. The potatoes were a tick too salty but other hot dishes were fine. Takeaway boxes are 110 SEK. I ate in for 140SEK including filtered cucumber water. Would have loved to try some of the cakes, but no time in this occasion.

Tasty, good price - Edit
Tasty food, friendly people, good amount, low price for gamla stan 150SEK. The drinks were a bit high priced 40SEK but the total was still quite low. Also nice: the toilet is nice and clean.

This is my regular lunch spot - Edit
I work close by so I eat here at least once a week. Almost everything is vegan except for some of the dishes, for example the lasagna, but it’s easy to ask the staff and they mix up the dishes regularly. It’s kind of expensive if you eat there but if you take away it becomes very affordable.

Great value - Edit
We ate there at least twice while in Stockholm. Delicious food, lots of choices and reasonable price. If you are vegan, double check if a dish is really vegan and not vegetarian, sometimes there was a bit of confusion.

Delicious! - Edit
The food was delicious. When my husband and I went everything was vegan besides the lasagna and a salad item. Just ask ahead of time what’s vegan, more than likely it’s all vegan or minus a couple things. Small place, bigger parties definitely want a reservation. There’s not a ton of food options but it’s still enough to fill you up!

Disapointed - Edit
The staff was clearly annoyed at serving us. The food was OK but not really well cooked. It’s kind of the basic things you cook when you turn vegan and don’t know what to do.

Excellent food and friendly, helpful staff - Edit
Recommend by our city guide, we went for lunch. There was a choice of several starters (coleslaw, grated carrot, humous etc), a hot soup (beetroot when we went) and three hot dishes plus brown rice and also quinoa. There is olive oil, vinegar and also 2 or 3 homemade sauces / condiments that you can add to your food. We tried everything! The Moroccan vegetables were delicious and the stir fried vegetables too. There was also a pasta dish with vegetables but I didn’t try it as it had cheese in it. The 2 guys were very friendly and helpful and told us that the dishes change on a daily basis. It was so great we decided to get a “takeaway” too that we have eaten this evening at our Airbandb place! Tea and coffee were included in the price. We had a lovely piece of apple tart to finish off with. Very reasonably priced - we would definitely recommend.
