Amazing Burgers

We are traveling and we found this on Happy Cow. Wonderful find.
We got the single cheeseburger and added the vegan bacon. Love that this is made locally and with organic mycelia (myForest Foods myBacon).
We also got the loaded vegan fries. Everything was so good.

Pros: Everything on their menu had a vegan version, Very friendly service , Affordable

Cons: Limited parking , They have vegan shakes but they were not available

Great vegan burger!

My friends took me to Herbie’s on Western Ave. I walked in, saw Vegan Burgers and Milkshakes, and smiled. My smile got even bigger when I read the ingredients! Barley, not mushy beans. I ordered the single cheeseburger, with all the usual trimmings. My first bite confirmed this was not a mushy burger. Tasty, firm, crispy outer layer, a tad spicy (but not bad, as I can’t handle spice), great toppings, if a bit (?!) messy. They were unable to make a shake (oat milk), so I’ll try that next time.
I’m definitely going back!

Pros: They have really good vegan burgers!, Great service

Vegan versions of almost everything on the menu

This place has a cute, classic “burger joint” vibe. They offer a vegan egg and cheese sandwich in the morning, a vegan cheeseburger (single, double, triple, or quadruple), a vegan BLT, vegan fries, and vegan loaded fries. They also have an assortment of vegan milkshake flavors on the menu, but sometimes it seems to be hit or miss whether they actually have them…I’m not sure why. The shakes have tahini in them and I think it might give them an ever so slightly unique flavor. They have vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and banana. You can combine two different flavors, or have a Neapolitan shake.

The BLT is my current favorite item on the menu—it’s made with myForest Foods myBacon, and I love it! I’ve had the burger a couple of times and sometimes I’m in the mood for it and sometimes not. The patties are house-made, so they’re different from what you can typically find (Beyond, Impossible, etc.). I haven’t tried the breakfast sandwich yet. The fries are good—they’re thin and crispy.

Parking at this Guilderland location can be a bit tricky as the parking lot is small and it’s on a busy road.
