I should’ve heeded the reviews ! - Edit
Like many others, I found this place overpriced and underwhelming. My husband ordered the Mana Smoothie Bowl (asking that it be made vegan which just entailed mashed unripe bananas as a base) and I got the Big Brekkie dish. Neither tasted good, and we did not finish our meals. To their credit, they gave us a minor discount on the Big Brekkie since I barely touched it. Unfortunately, they were out of avocado toast and another option we were interested in.

Pros: Ambiance
Cons: Food & coffee not good, Few vegan options, Expensive

Something special! ✨ - Edit
Amazing dinner spot. They have a nice menu with „fancy“ food options and combinations I’ve never had bevor. We ordered the baked cauliflower head, eggplant „sandwiches“ & garlic potatoes, the food was bomb! Would highly recommend it, cozy atmosphere & very friendly staff as well.

Great atmosphere & food - Edit
Herb library is tucked a little out of the way off the Main Street. It’s a lovely place to visit, sit, relax and reflect away from the noise of 1000 mopeds 🏍️. With live music.

Great location - Edit
Went there for dinner and enjoyed the healthy nourish bowl, so good but could have been bigger for the price. Vanilla icecream was also yummi.

Egg in vegan dish - Edit
Update 2024: I ordered a clearly vegan marked breakfast dish on the menu, after the first bite it turned out that the corn fritter was made out of egg. In a high class restaurant that says they specialize in vegan, vegetarian and omnivore food that is a big no go for me. Staff was very apologetic though. But I usually don’t see the need to specify vegan when something is clearly marked vegan.
Read moreFirst of all, service is high class, best service I had so far in Ubud! But unfortunately the vegan options are limited. They used to have a vegan Caesar salad, which was amazing, but last time I went I couldn’t find it on the menu anymore and the other salad I had wasn’t that great. Prices are pretty high. I would definitely go back if they had more vegan options, so I guess I would recommend it to vegetarian, but not so much for vegans!

Expensive and just a few vegan options - Edit
We only had drinks here because the offering of vegan dishes didn't impressed me...
Read moreSolid Oat Latte, Strawberry Blondie was good, but the best was the Banana Caramel Peanutbutter Milk! Hihghly recommend! Just order with plantbased milk instead of coconut ice cream (i hope the caramel is also vegan but staff said yes).
Overall its nice for a drink or two, but expensive.

Many vegan options - if you ask for it ;-) - Edit
A lovely spot with some nice seating and extremely friendly staff.
Read moreThe menu looks at first sight pretty low on vegan options due to missing signs for vegan. But after talking to the friendly waitress we found out that almost every dish can be made vegan. e.g. we ordered the Prawn Avocado Salsa with tofu instead of prawns (suggestion of the waitress) and the Ramentic Special (no sign for vegeterian or vegan in the menu) we also got vegan.
Everything was really delicious, nice spices and flavours. Additionally, you get free flavoured water (watermelon?) and some fruits & vegetable.
Price is definetely above average but quality is high and preparation was quite fast.
Really long drinks menu with delicious and healthy drinks.
All in all: Recommendation!

Stayed here - got breakfast - Edit
So we stayed at this resort and breakfast was included. They had non dairy milks for coffee and a selection of vegan breakfasts - but the vegan ones were all rice/curry. Not everyone wants this for breakfast 🤷🏼♀️ the smoothie bowl had yogourt unfortunately. They made a few mistakes in the days we spent there - they put eggs on one of our dishes on day and we had to ask 3 times for a new meal -

Pros: Vegan options for each meal, Lots for vegetarians and dairy eaters
Cons: Not entirely sure all staff understands vegan

A relaxing calm and attractive spot to pop in for a herbal ice tea - Edit
Stumbled upon this restaurant on a hot mornings walk. Lovely ambience, great service and good menu. I opted for a lemongrass, ginger, and orange herbal ice tea and a fresh coconut juice water. Although I didn’t order any food, the food did look good.

Positive BUT more vegan needed... - Edit
As a vegan dining with non-vegans I can say also on behalf of them there is definate quality to the food and service here. There is a good range of styles of foods and drinks including rice based, salads, soups etc. however in most sections only one dish was labelled vegan which was disappointing. Also found it difficult to decipher which options were vegan or just veg as the vegan sticker was not allocated to it but the description of the dish appeared to be vegan. All-round positive experience!!

Vegetarian Balinese - Edit
If you like Balinese food you’ll love it. It was bit too much rice based for me and non rice based or accompanied vegetarian/ vegan dishes are very limited . They’re tasty however .

Must eat - Edit
After 3 months in Ubud and about 70 restaurants later I still recommend this place to every person I met.
Read moreBalinese inspired vegan and vegetarian fusion slow food with omnivore options.
Every dish tastes so balanced by the herbs and the free infused water is comparably strong in taste - really delicious. Mains for 100-140. Definitely worth the money. But 1 main is not enough for the real hunger.
Pros: unique, delicious , slow food
Cons: slightly to small mains - leaves space for deserts

Great food, pleasant environment, attentive service - Edit
This place is relatively new, having opened earlier in the year, and I was glad I found it. The setting is very pleasant and the service has the distinctive kindness of Balinese people. The menu is creative and delicious.
Read moreOne of the interesting aspects of their offerings is that they've turned the "veg options" concept on its head: they present themselves as a vegan restaurant with "non-veg options".
Overall, I like this place very much and will be returning next time I'm in Ubud.
Pros: Great setting, Delicious menu, Reasonable prices, for the quality offered
Cons: Location not that central
